You know the drill<3 The mare had it today. She was angry. The clouds had come, washing away all the home she had made. Now she'd have to make another. What a predicament. It had taken her so long too! Well Poo..
She sighed, giving a toss of her head, throwing back the black mass of curls she had inherited from her fathers genes. Her sapphire Violet eyes were teh color of twilight as they shone above the stars in teh sky.
She gave a flick of her tail. Sometimes rain just wasnt your friend.. But in the end, it was needed.. and if her home had to go away to prove it, well fine..
She glanced att he damage. Her home had been nothing but branches of the trees pulled over, creating a small shelter and a dark enclosure.
But now the twigs stuck out at odd angles, as that was what they were now.. Twigs. They werent connected to teh tree any longer.
The leaves were all over teh place, and for a brief thought, she wondered if she was even in the right place.

Riley was trotting, like he did every day. He loved to get all his energy out. He ran along the stream and well, anywhere.
Soon he came by a mare standing next to a bunch of sticks. "Hi!" He said with a rather large smile. "What'cha doing?" He would have asked if she needed help, but he wasn't sure what she was doing.

Naina groaned. She really wasnt in the mood for anyone to see her right now.. She was upset, her home was destroyed, and lets face it, it was apparent that this one had loads of energy..
She wasnt in the mood for that right now.. But she still gave a small smirk, to be polite of course,
"Hello.." She said, her voice echoing with its ghostly linger, and her french accent only making itmore awkward.
"Im fixing my home.."

Riley smiled back, her voice was so neat. He looked around and then back at her. "Oh, that's too bad! It looked like a nice house. Would you like help?" She did'nt seem to happy by his presence, but hey, maybe he could cheer her up?

She cocked her head. A stallion that was willing to help her clean up all that was done?
She really didnt need the help per say.. But she could use the company.. She never did get much company lately.
"I guess Id like that.." She said, nodding, and looking back at her 'home'.
"But I dont even know where to start.."

Riley smiled at her, "Well, let's see." He trotted around the site and then looked back at her. "Should we move sticks first and then make a pile?" He was happy to help her.
"We could turn it into a game, maybe see who can a stick without making the rest fall over?" Riley foung making work into games alot more fun.

She snorted. A game? Foolish stallion. Making a mess with sticks hardly seemed to be the way to go about this.. and this is what it was.. a mess..
But she sighed, shaking her head..
"Sure. Lets play the game.." Her voice was scary in a way. She had her french accent along with the shadowy voice of a ghost.
"How do you play your little game?"
Her purple orbs looked at him, and there was no hostility in them.

Riley smiled, "Cool!" He was happy she would play a game with him. He just thought it would be more fun.
"First you take a twig." He trotted over to the pile and serched for one away from the others, "Then you pull it out, but try not to move the rest of the twigs." He bit down on the twig and slowly pulled until it was out of the pile. "There!" The rest of the pile stayed.

Naina shook her head, causing her black mane to bob up and down.
Reaching down, and disbelieving that she was actually doing this.. She reached down with her teeth out, grabbing onto a thin twig.
As she went to pull, the twig snapped, causing the rest of the twigs to fall around her feet.
Snuffing and grumbling under her breath, she used her grace to jump from the pile and step away from all teh fallen twigs.
"Stupid twigs.. Stupid games.." She really wasnt mad the twigs had fallen, just mad that she actually gave into the game, and here she was... She lost. What a mess.
"I cant play games.. I fail at them every time."
Father had never taught her games. He taught her survival.. and she wasnt sure that they were too far apart.

Riley watched as the pile fell down, "Hey, don't feel bad. I think you did fine." He wanted to cheer her up, now how was he going to do that?
"You didn't lose...there are still a buch piled up, maybe I'll nock the rest down." With that said he walked over to the pile and tugged on a heavy branch. This time the whole pile fell and he tripped and rolled on a few twigs. He rolled right over to her and looked up. "See?"

She couldn't help but smile at him. Well, he had juts tried to embarass himself to help her.
She'd never had that before. She had a genuine grin on her face, as she shook her head.
"You are, how do they say, a real piece of work. Why do you embarass yourself for me?"

Riley's smile became wider as he saw her smile down at him. He dusted himself off and stood up. "Who says I did it on purpose? Hey, it made you smile, didn't it?"
He turned and looked back at the pile, "I guess we should do it the hard way, huh? No games?" He turned back to her to see what she said.

"Aye, it did make me smile. Something I havent done in awhile."
She lifted a twig from teh earth with her mouth, gently laying it aside.
There work would be cut out for them.. It was such a mess. But it could be worse. She could be alone.
"Im not sure.. I dont play games.. So Im afraid I'll only do what happened the first time all over again."

Riley noddeed, happy that he could make her do something like smile, "Well, you should do so more often." Smiling was contagious normally, maybe his would rub off on her?
"You never know unless you try? You think I was always good a game? Nah! I just kept trying." He eyed th twigs, "You can try again. If it happens again, we'll go back to the boring way." He chuckled and smiled at her.

She looked back down at the twigs and then at the pile, and back at the twigs. She did not want to be made a fool again.. But she had a feeling, this nice stallion wouldnt laugh at her.. maybe with her.. but she didnt laugh alot.. Maybe he could help with that. After all, he had made her smile, and she hadnt done that in forever either.
It soon struck her that she hadn't learned his name, nor had he known hers.
"Do forgive my rudeness. My name is Naina Julianna Belle Morte. But you can call me Naina.. And I think Id like very much to attempt this one more time.."
She said, bending over to pick at the twig that was lodged between other ones. Pulling it out, a bead of sweat rolled down her forehead.
She had to..
And finally, she pulled away, twig in mouth, looking at the pile that remained undisturbed.
Her eyes grew wide as she spoke around the twig.
"I did eet!"
