STORY: Once...many, many years ago, in a universe much like our own, The God Anorad, of the Sun and Earth, and the Goddess Alucia, of Water and Life created a land of breathtaking beauty. They filled this land with creatures of all kinds, from those of legend: Unicorns, Dragons, and others, to some that could not even be imagined by our human minds. But their most prized creation was a creature not unlike Elves. The two entities called this group of creatures the Quenya. These creatures did not rule over the land, but lived in harmony with the creatures that shared this world. It was a paradise...a true paradise.
Some of the Quenya, though...they believed that they deserved to rule this land, and that they were above all the creatures, as they were favored by Alucia and Anorad. They broke away from their peaceful brethren and called themselves Sindarin. The Sindarin created a society of their own, and soon began to oppress those around them, using their once faithful companions as slaves, or...just as bad...treating them as if they were mindless scum.
The Quenyan people, though normally pacifists and peace keepers, hated this, and war soon broke out.
Anorad and Alucia saw this war, and they knew their amazing world was falling apart. They decided, after swearing to never physically interfere with their world, that they would call upon the souls of their sacred world. The endless skies of Vilya; The deep, hypnotic woods of Arda; The Dark, eerie peace of Maloch; The rough, fiery mountains and valleys of Runya; The golden, glittering plains of Me'a; and the deep, mysterious waters of Brilthor. From these lands, they chose six young children, all born in Kalina, the fiftieth year. They blessed these children with the gift of the Element they were born under, and marked them with a sign of their destiny.
These six children, all born in one of the six months of the Sarnonian Year, were chosen, and blessed for one reason. To save this world, to stop the war, and to return it to paradise...

[.Yea...it's in every thread, but hey...it's gross...no one likes it and if you do you're a perv...so...yea.. .] - gaia_left -NO GOD-MODDING! [.Everyone hates it...it's rude. You don't know what the other person wants for their character, so don't act like you do. Anyone caught godmodding will be blacklisted...second time, you will be banned.] - gaia_left -NO AVATARS FOR PICTURES! It's not that I have anything against your avvies...it's just...I find it very pointless to use your avvie as a picture for a character...it just...bothers me. So PLEASE use either a picture or a description...just no avvies!!! - gaia_left -PM ALL REQUESTS FOR MAJOR CHARACTERS TO ME [.Anyone not wanting to play a major character can post their profiles in the designated thread. If you do request an element, please wait for me to accept before you post your profile.] - gaia_left -HAVE FUN! [.Respect the person you're rping with and listen to anything I tell you. INFO:
About Sarnon:
In Sarnon, there are six known lands, Vilya; Arda; Maloch; Runya; Me'a; and Brilthor...
THE LANDS:
- gaia_left -Tarna: Tarna is the center of all the worlds. The word Tarna means Passage in the ancient language, and that's exactly what this world is. It's the world of passage, right in between the world of Sarnon and the world of the Gods. It is inhabited by the children of the gods and godesses, and is the place where the six Chosen Children must meet.
- gaia_left -Vilya: Vilya is the land of Air. The majority of the land is covered by mist and clouds. The Quenya of this land are the Hwesta, or WindFolk. The natural born gift of these Quenya is the gift of speed. Most of the Hwesta have shoulder-lenght to short blonde hair, and clear, ice blue eyes with slightly pale skin. Their voices are soft and whispering and their movements swift and fleeting but graceful.
- gaia_left -Arda: Arda is the Land of Wood and Nature. It's covered in nothing but forests and fields and is home to a wide variety of the animals in Sarnon. The Quenya of Arda are called the Kayen. They are the most like elves out of all the Quenya. Their natual gift is the gift of speach. ((Knowing the language of all creatures around them, including plants)). Kayen normally have long medium to dark brown hair, and deep emerald eyes with slightly tan to dark tan skin. Their voices are full of life and joy, as well as deep wisdom. Their movements are graceful, nimble and agile, like most elves.
- gaia_left -Maloch: Maloch is the land of Dark. It's the darkest of the lands. During the day, it's as dark as night, and at night, if you're not from Maloch, there's no way to see anything. The Quenya of this place are the Mori. Their natural gift is the gift of sight. They can see perfect as day even in the pitch dark of Maloch's night, and during the day, the sun does not hurt them. They can also see for very long distances. Mori have hair as black as their night, and their eyes are a deep, captivating purple. Their voices are dark and mysterious, and their movements shadow like, silent.
- gaia_left -Runya: Runya is the land of Fire. It's covered in volcanoes and Plains of fire. The sky is always a smokey grey, and the land is burnt and desolate, but beautiful in it's own way. The Quenya there are called the Uruite. Uruite have the gift of quiet, contained strength. Their race has light orange to dark red, and sometimes black hair, red or yellow eyes, and light to darkly taned skin. Their voices are warm and enticing, but when angry burn like flames, and their movements are swift and flickering, yet strong and purposeful.
- gaia_left -Me'a: Me'a is the land of light. The area is almost completely made of large golden plains with few hills or trees to abstruct the endless sea of golden wheats. The land is not desert, just filled with anything golden or yellow. The Quenya here are called Kalina. Their natural gift is the gift of healing. Kalina are found with both hair and eyes the color of summer wheat and their skin is fair and unblemished. They are, in truth, the most beautiful of the Quenya. Their voices are bright and filled with joy. Their movements all gentle grace.
- gaia_left -Brilthor: Brilthor is the land of water. It's all rolling oceans and seas, the only land being islands scattered throughout. The Quenya in Brilthor are special ones indeed. They're called the Shae. The thing that's the most different about the Shae is that they naturally have two forms, but it's not their natural gift. In water, the Shae become mermaids and mermen, or some form of sea creature, but on land, they become just like the other Quenya. Their natural gift is the gift of song. They can change situations, moods and even sometimes lives by the way they sing their songs, a gift much like that of a Siren. They have long, sun-yellow hair and eyes as blue and deep as the sea itself. Their skin is lightly tanned, and their voices have beauty beyond compare. Their movements are much like the waves. Graceful and hypnotising.
THE STARS Constellations: In the world of Sarnon. Many constellations are formed by the shapes of the stars, but also, many are formed by the shapes of empty space in between the stars. Sarnonian creatures, and people, view the stars as sacred, and the space in-between as a deep mystery, that should not be solved. Because of this, they honor both by creating constellations in their name. - gaia_left -Anarriima: The literal translation of this name is "Sun-hem". Anarriima is a constellation crated by stars. This constellation is a circle of stars that surround the moon, and follow it's path of orbit. They shine as brightly as the sun does in the day, and so the Sarnonians believe that it's part of the sun left behind to guide through the night.
- gaia_left -Menelmakar: The translation of this Star is "Sky-trader". This is one of the constellations that shows in the spaces in-between. It takes the form of a cargo ship, being guided by two large hands. Some Sarnonians believe this constellation was created by Anorad, to bless the trades, and keep the land prosperous. But many also believe that it is a constellation to bless travel at seas, and so many times, if the skies are clouded, even without storms, Quenyans will not travel by sea, since their protective constellation is not visible.
- gaia_left -Soronuume: The meaning of this is Aerie, or the nest of a large bird of prey. It is shown by stars, and takes the shape of an eagle, with wings widespread with a circle of stars around it's feet, representing the nest. This constellation is believed to bring good luck with raising children, as well as giving people a feeling of freedom and pride.
- gaia_left -Telumendil: Telumendil is known in the common tounge as "The Blanket of Silence". This constellation is made from the spaces between the stars. It is a large space of very dim stars. When it is in the sky, it creates a calm, warm feeling. It was created to give the residents of Sarnon a feeling of security, and to show that the the Gods and Goddesses were watching over them, and keeping them safe.
- gaia_left -Wilwarin: Wilwarin is known as "The Butterfly", which is also the literal meaning of the word. It's one of the smallest constellations, but is also one of the brightest. It is made of the stars, and the stars that create it seem to glow with a soft violet light. It was created to show the freedom that all creatures of Sarnon possess, and therefor is hated by the Sindarin. Even during the war, it shines brighter than ever, showing that Alucia and Anorad are on the side of freedom.
Stars: - gaia_left -Alkarinque: Alkarinque is the Star of Glory. It glows with a silver light and shines in the first month of the Sarnonian year. This makes the month of Alkarinque the month of success. It brings great acomplishments and luck when it shines in the Sarnonian sky.
- gaia_left - Elemmiire: The star of Elemmiire is the star of Rapture. It glows with a yellow hue and shines in the second month. Elimmiire is the month of Joy, for the star brings feelings of great happiness throughout the month.
- gaia_left -Karnil: The month of Karnil is the month in which it's namesake shines. Karnil is the star of Creation. It glows with a perfectly white light and shines in the third month. The month of Karnil is the best for growing crops and is known as the month of Life. Many creatures are also born in this month.
- gaia_left -Lunil: Lunil is the month of Strength. Lunil the star is the star of Dragons, and glows with a deep, white-red light. This is the month the war began, for it is the month of fire and strenght. It is the hottest of the months, but one of the most beautiful, with the sun shining like a dragon's scale. It is a month of warmth, but if anger arises...it is the most extreme in this month.
- gaia_left -Lumbar: The Star of Lumbar is the star of Shadows. This is one of the darkest months, and it is filled with quiet. It isn't a month of fear, just a month of calm dark. It's a month that brings a lot of love, since it is filled, the whole day every day, with the mysterious bliss of night.
- gaia_left -Nierniwa: Nierniwa is the month of peace. The month is just as it says. It is the coldest of the months, and so it is filled with the glittering beauty of snow, even in the fiery lands of Runya, and the bright, sun filled plains of Me'a. It is a month of love and beauty. Even the war stops in this month, to give people a chance at happiness, if only for a short while.

((I will be playing Maranwe for now, until we get someone who would like to take my place))
Seorsa swayed sofly to the song in her mind as she placed her journal and smaller instruments in her pack. She turned then, and placed a hand on the lute by the wall, only to stop and turn at the opening of the door. She smiled softly seeing her godess like friend. "Mara! Hi!"
"Hello, Saya. Planning a trip?" She asked with a giggle.
"Only to the portal from the other lands. I am going to wait for the other's who have been called. If we're going to be traveling together, than first impressions are important. Am I right?"
"Very! Don't leave me without saying good bye, though. Alright?"
"I would never dream of it Mara. I'll be back soon!" She smiled, hugged her friend, grabbed her lute and headed out the door towards the greenish glow coming from the edge of the forest. The only portal that led to Tarna. There were entrances from all lands, and it was possible to walk to Tarna, but the portal was the quickest. She sat gently against the glowing arc and began to play a soft melody.

Kaiya walked unsteadily on the soft dirt with are arms spread out wide like she was trying to fly. After walking miles and miles on land, she thought that she wouldn't fall on her butt anymore. Boy was she wrong. At every rock and tree branch that got in her way, she always fell. She even tripped over a tiny pebble.
She took another few steps and a big smile appeared on her face. "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" she exclaimed. Sure, she was still wobbling a bit but she didn't care. She finally passed her record of four steps to seven steps. It may not seem much, but to Kaiya, it meant a lot less pain for herh. "And everyone at home thought I couldn't do it. Ha! Were they wrong!"
Kaiya continued to walk just as slow and wobbily as before... Well that was before she noticed a large fallen tree trunk covering her path. Her feet stopped but her body kept moving and she fell to the ground. "Aw man! I fell again!" she whined and over at the tree trunk.
"Now how am I going to pass that?" she asked herself and looked for a way to get around it. Sadly, the tree was very tall and with how slow Kaiya walked, it would take hours for her to get back onto track.
An idea popped into her head as she thought of the different possibilities to pass the tree. Kaiya's face scrunched up because she didn't like the idea but she gave in anyways and tried to get back to her feet. "I guess I'm going to have to just climb over it."

Days melted into each other as Abel pushed forward towards Tarna. Evidence of just how far the war was affecting the people laid itself before him as he passed through towns and villages to take rest. Mounting frustration not only at the world's circumstances but his own made his fledgling abilities a constant danger. Because of this, he avoided the people as much as could be done for fear of a sudden eruption. When he was safely tucked into the fields away from others, he would try to master his abilities. But for the tiredness and the constant need to keep moving, he couldn't make much progress.
At night he attempted to talk to Anorad but at times he was unsure whether he was replacing Anorad's voice with his own thoughts. Fatigue overtook him and he fell into the same dream he had been having nightly. But where the dream used to stop when the girl and himself were completely wrapped in flame, it began to continue further. An odd calmness seemed to fill him and he could manipulate his feelings as though clay. He found the feeling invigorating: being able to control his ability and soon the flames vanished. He woke suddenly, realizing what he had just done. But the rush of excitement stopped almost immediately once his senses returned and the sobering thought that none of it was real entered his mind. He yelled out in frustration and turned on his side.
In the morning he gathered his things quickly and continued onward, Tarna couldn't be too much further. Almost subconsciously he began to wish he could talk to Anorad one last time before he got there.

Kaiya now stood right in front of the tree and gave it a glare. She had attempted to climb over the large trunk many times but Kaiya had no luck. "I want my water back," she whined in her head as her look softened up. She then suddenly remembered what all her friends had said before she left.
"You never walked on land before. How are you going to get to wherever you're going?"
Determination suddenly took over her and she placed both of her hands on on the tree trunk. Alucia had called her and told her to go to Tarna and that was exactly what she was going to do. She lifted herself up, brought her legs underneath her body, and swung them to the other side of the tree. Why she didn't think of that sooner, she had no idea. At least she got over the tree. Unfortunately, Kaiya swung her legs too hard and it made her lose her balance and she fell to the hard ground on her butt.
"Ow!" she yelped as she hit the dirt. Kaiya rubbed her lower back to ease the pain. "That really hurt."
As she shakily got up from the ground and brushed the dirt of her blue outfit, a bright green light caught her attention. "Is that it?" Kaiya questioned and slowly walked towards it. Once she was close enough, she noticed that light was a circle in the ground. Kaiya leaned up against a tree and a smile reached her face. "I made it!" she exclaimed and then started to jump around, not noticing that there was someone else also there. "I finally made it! I knew I could- AH!" Kaiya tripped over her own feet and once again fell to the ground. "Owie!"

Saeorsa jumped as the portal crackled with green light and spat out one of the first to make it to Tarna. She tilted her head as the girl jumped around...and....fell? She jumped up and ran over, kneeling beside her. "Are you alright?! Do you need some help?" She didn't wait for an answer though, and grabbed the girl's arm, pulling her to her feet.
She looked the girl up and down. Shimmering gold hair, the color of the sun on water, and dark blue eyes with the depth of the ocean. "You must be Shae. No wonder you are so clumbsy...I assume you are not used to your legs. Are you feeling ok? Are you hurt?"

"Oh I'm fine. Don't worry about it," Kaiya told the girl who had helped her up in a cheery voice. "I'm kinda use to falling now since I've done it practically the whole way here. I just don't understand how you can use these things," she continued, referring to her legs. "They're so hard to handle."
She then brushed off more dirt that appeared on her clothes from when she fell and then looked at the new girl that had just helped her. "Oh, my name's Kaiya by the way!" Kaiya grinned as she held out her hand for the other girl to shake.

Sevastian walked through the trees, his footsteps barely making a sound in the dark. Of course it was daytime though, that's just how it was in Maloch, always dark. He didn't mind at all, he'd grown to love it there, but he knew what he'd have to do. Tarna was only a mile away, well not truley a mile, it was much more than that. The portal from Maloch to Tarna was a mile away actually, he could see the green glow of the portal from his position, thanks to the normal abilities of his people. He kept on walking through the trees, his weapon, a scythe, on his back and a small sack of his belongings slung over his shoulder. He waited a long while for this day, even now his purple eyes shown with determination. All he could hear in his ears were the words spoken to him by Alucia, which made him all the more determined to get to Tarna as quick as possible. He was in no hurry though, he knew that for sure. There was no need to tire himself out so quickly.
As he reached the bright green glow of the portal he paused and sat in front of it. Taking this last moment to meditate and pull himself together. For all he knew some of them were already there, and he didn't want himself to be looked at as a crazy fool. One last deep breath and he was ready. He stepped onto the portal and before he could blink he was in the wooded area of Tarna. He smiled contently and looked over to see two girls. One looked a little wobbily; she had golden locks of hair and deep blue eyes. The other looked a little more situated; she had dark brown hair and green eyes. 'Ah, the Shea and the Kayen' he thought to himself.

Drifting winds swept themselves across plains of golden wheat. All the strains bent and moved with the gentle nudges of every breeze. Every movement of stems seemed to almost cascade into another, which in turn caused the next to bend as well. It was almost as waves on an endless ocean, with the sun peaking over the horizon, knowing not if it is sunset or sunrise, only knowing that its golden rays will provide the warmth for the present, and provide the heavenly hues upon the swaying waves. No matter how vast this field was, each individual stem seemed to receive the same warm embrace of the sun, and the gentle caressing of the wind.
With each cool calm breath from the heavens, Rhovanion felt himself become part of it, soaring through the fields himself, basking in the golden sea. It was complete freedom, able to drift every which way he wanted to, and know there was no end to this paradise. Rhovanion fully let his body be developed within the wind, and descended upon each grain, letting his fingertips gracefully nudge against the wheat steams. Grains of wheat fluttered out and followed him, almost as if they wanted to soar through the heavens and earth, as far as the wind could blow, just as he was doing now.
As he drifted, he could hear a voice echo off every strain, every contour of this world, it was so bold, so strong that Rhovanion could do nothing else but stop in mid flight. His ears retraced almost like a cat listening for its prey, but he was listening or this voice, which in a sense had become his prey that had first eluded his grasp, but he would be ready for it now.
"Rhovanion..." His ears tuned in to the vibrant voice, and just by the tones of which it spoke, the mere strength and yet gentleness of it, he could tell it was Anorad who was speaking to him. Once more the voice spoke to him, once more the earth shook, "Open your eyes."
With that, he felt his world be swept away by a wind so strong, not even a tornado could even muster enough to compete. In the return of his world though, he could feel the warm embrace of the sun's bright rise against him and felt the grass beneath him warm to the heaven's rays.
"Ah," with a simple sigh, he looked out into the world, there before him was Tarna, he had taken a few days to travel there, and at night, he indeed was not mistaken. This was Tarna... yet even though he arrived to his destination, no celebration came, no instead his mind drifted off to his freedom.
He found his hand drifting against the coming wind as he let his palm grace slowly over the blades of grass. Every breeze he felt the strands trickle against him, making it feel as if he was indeed controlling once again. His heart started to yearn for that freedom he had just felt not long ago.... Surely another moment of sleep would pose no harm, would it not? With that thought in mind, he slowly drifted back to his slumber, where the wheat crop without grain reigned.
