Have any of your dollies taken a nose-dive? A face plant?! Judas face-planted into the concrete thanks to the goddamn wind when L0veVampire (I think she's in the guild? If not, she should be. XD)and I were out taking pictures. D: The result was a VERY minorly nicked nose (that I still haven't gotten around to fixing. I'm so nervous! The thought of dollfie rhinoplasty just isn't very inticing. Luckily I can barely see the nick) and a very frightened me.
Any of your dolls done that? Mine like to fall a lot, but his is the only accident that has ever caused any damage. gonk

last weekend I took both Lena and Adriyn downtown with me and a friend, I had them both sitting on the edge of a table outside and Adriyn just fell!!! no wind or anything... that was the first major fall either had (aka falling more than 1 foot or onto pillows) fortunately nothing happened to him, I felt so bad! crying
also be wary of black fabric! or anyfabric with black on it! Lena's arms have very slight black lines/stains from a tube dress that I made her...

This didn't happen to me but to a friend of mine (zoi no miko on DoA) at Animazement earlier this year. She was taking a picture of this lovely fairy cosplayer and her boy Shin when Shin fell over. His wig and headcap came off and while there was no damage to his face or anything it was enough to practically traumatize the poor cosplayer. She said something along the lines of "his life flashed before my eyes!" xd But in the end Shin was fine and the pictures were taken.

Costanzia (I finally decided on a name!) Fell off of my sewing desk for what seems to be no reason at all and sort of scratched her tummy. Plus, she gets dirty so easily, it's like she's a dirt magnet and something stained her belly, back and bum, so I have to sand the areas. I thought it was the dress I made her, but then it would have stained her breasts and thighs so I need to figure out what stained her so she can stay away from it.

I SPOKE TOO SOON!!! xp I was taking some pictures on the breaking rock wall across the street from my house and I really wanted to have at least one picture of her standing, so I stood her up and stood back, getting ready to take the picture. I guess the wind didn't agree with me and decided to blow just a bit harder to throw her off of her balance, sending her falling into the broken rocks below. I somehow caught her before she gained any real damage, but she did scrape her knee pretty badly. The dirt in the scrape is going to have to be sanded off, but I'M SO GLAD SHE'S OKAY!!!

I took Michiko outside for pictures. Had her use a tree branch for support. Our dog walked by and her big tail kept whacking at the tree, and Michiko went face flat into the ground. I was paralyzed for a second, just staring at her. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!! *dives to get her off the ground*" Luckily she was okay! ^__^

Ahem. You guys are making me nervous. *clutches Ruby in terror* I'm planning on taking her to the store to try on clothes. I'll probably stuff her in a backpack FILLLED with bubblewrap. Since I will be biking her there. crying

But, yes, hearing stories like this make you want to walk around with your doll wrapped up in bubble wrap with sculpy and krazy glue on hand to repair any sustained damage. IT'S SO SCARY!!!

Krazy Glue! gonk ... I have.. uhm. Issues with it. I used it to glue a shirt down to my skin for cosplay.
Ruby should be fine, Aerine. The Vinyl probably won't break like the resin.
... I STILL haven't fixed Judas's nose. gonk

I krazy glued my fingers together once and they stayed glued for four days before my mom decided that enough was enough and made me peel it off. But beside the point, krazy glue is excellent for repairs. something my girly is needing a lot of lately (well, not really her, more like her accessories)

I once super glued my own hand to a desk while trying to hide homoerotic literature from my mother. I was 12 or 13...
No serious injuries to any of my dolls, but they're all small and most never leave the boxes.... I think there might be many accidents when I lay my hands on a resin doll of my own. If only they would switch to something a bit more sturdy. Resin isn't exactly toy-material...
