The song Passion's Killing Floor From the new album will be on Transformers movie.
Also The Transformers soundtrack CD.
Wich is coming out so very close I may add.
I can't wait to hear it.
All info is from Wikipedia.

Discuss : HIM having a song on a hit movie, Why Transformers you think.
Ect. Just wanted to spread some info.

The bands generally don't choose the albums to appear on.
Whoever was creating the album contacted HIM, and a huge soundtrack like Transformers must have been a pretty big paycheck.

By the way, the movie looks pretty damn amazing.

i just wanted to see the movie cause i like giant robots, and whenever i think of "HIM", i don't think of giant robots.
so i think it might sound akward in that kind of movie. maybe in a horror film it'd sound better, i dunno.

Well The new album is supposed to be "darkest material yet" So it could go in with action packed scene. Or a scene where there is alot of suspense. I might just have to go now razz

The song won't play during the film.
Maybe during the credits, but not the actual film.
I'm guessing you've never listened to a major motion picture's "soundtrack".
The songs are just a collection of songs that will appeal to the majority of the film's fanbase.
HIM were on the soundtrack to Resident Evil: Apocalypse too.

I don't even remember hearing Join Me in that movie at all...

Just because the song is on the album doesn't automatically guarantee it's going to even be in the movie, it may just be one of the songs 'inspired by' the movie...
But I must admit, I was already going to see it, but now i guess I'll have to pay more attention.

the song is up all over youtube. i listened to it.
i still don't think that it would sound good in the movie, unless they played it during the credits.
but it's a good song overall.

It wasn't in it.
That was my whole point.
Normally, on a soundtrack, there's about 1 or 2 songs out of, say, 15 that actually appear in the film somewhere.

i saw the movie in the cinema and never heard Passion's Killing Floor. the only song i recognised, apart from the cheesy ones Bumblebee kept playing near the start, was What I've Done, by Linken Park.

they finally put passion's killing floor up on HIM's myspace, but 2 things:

1) the song either doesn't play all they way or not at all, and
2) the album artwork is scary as s**t.

go see for yourself.

It was in the movie...well the first few seconds of the song. It was one of the parts where Sam is laying on his bed.

Ok. Now transformers aside, Still talking about Passions killing floor.
They have released a 30 seconds preview for a music video.
It's on hims youtube.
Have you seen it?
What did you think of it?

I think it's neat, the stripes and weird effects is pretty cool.
I don't know why but It reminded me of the preview to Bleed Well in effects.
