Naina glanced at the rising sun. She didnt truly want it to rise.. She was much more comfortable in the dark. But it would rise none the less, and she figured she should just accept it. After all, what could she do?
She smiled at the clouds in the sky, that was now visible.
Shaking her dark black mass of curls that she'd taken from her fathers genes, she stared at the sky some more, with the eyes of her mother.
Purple orbs. Sapphire and Violet eyes.
She was cautious. She was vulnerable right now..
So she remained cautious, as daddy always said..

Sunrise... It was such a beautiful time of day. He wandered slowly into the clearing not far from his 'home', pausing for a moment as the bright rays of dawn began to crack through the mist. He almost felt like frolicking... Of course he knew that, somehow, Crowley would appear the moment he did and he would never live it down. Frolicking, in such a case, was out...
He would settle instead on dipping his head to pluck a small flower from the ground, carefully chewing on the petals before letting the stem fall fro his lips. The stems never tasted nearly as appealing as the flowers did...

Naina saw teh Ethereal stallion long before he laid eyes on her. She cocked her head, wondering why she'd never seen him before. After all, she only did live here.
Should she approach him? She wasnt sure. She didnt want to get hurt, and who knew, maybe he was a troubled soul.
She tentitively approached the male, who was thoughtfully chewing on the flower he;d pulled from the earth.'
She was cautious again. Ready to fight or flee.
"Helloo.." She said, her voice wavering in it's ghostlike manner.

His brow lofted slightly at the sound of the voice. Won-derful. His safe haven had been found... By a mare.
A smile curved his lips as he put on his best gentlemanly appearance, turning slowly so that he could greet the mare with a bow. "Good morning, Madame."

The blue mare glanced at him and did her best not to run. She felt deep in her bones he didnt want her there.. But this was her home, and she'd never leave it.
She raised an eyebrow and giving a smile all her own, she spoke softly.
"Im sorry that my arrival has caused such torment. I did only want to say hello."
She smiled, no thread of anger or disdain in her voice. Only the echo it always had.
" My name is Naina Luciana Belle Morte.. Or, you can call me any of the names Ive been sired with,."
She said.

Torment? He wasn't aware that he looked tormented... He was almost certain that looks such as those only crossed his face when Crowley was around. Torment, amongst other things, of course. Frustration, annoyance... No matter, he summed it up simply as being a 'mare thing'. They always seemed to assume that they were causing trouble of some sort and the moment he said they weren't they tried to slide up next to him to become friendly.
He would just ignore that... Yes, it would be easy to push that aside.
"It is most certainly my pleasure to meet you, Madame. I am Aziraphale. What brings you out and about this fine morning?"
