Walking into the immense room that is the great hall, you take in the sights of hundreds of students sitting at one of four tables. The ceiling changes each time you enter this hall, and sometimes shows the bright blue sky, faling snow, or floating candles. On holidays the ceiling is especially beautiful. Each table is divided by house: The one on the far left is Slytherin, followed by Hufflepuff, and then Gryffindor, and then Ravenclaw on the far right. The staff tables are up front and Dumbledore's great chair sits in the middle. House elves do not hesistate to prepare the students the most wonderful of breakfast, lunches, and feasts, with cooking that is something to miss during summer holidays.
Star walks into the hall and followed by her cousin and Stella, she picks a little table on the side so all three could sit and eat together rather than sitting at the house tables. " So how was your summer, mine was dull minus George, Father (Lupin) hasn't been as happy without Uncle Sirius around, though you probably don't want to talk about it"

Stella sat amongst the two other girls, just listening since it appeared that they were talking about their family business, which in terms, she had nothing to do with. She sipped her goblet silently, finally pulling out a copy of that morning's daily prophet.

Raina looked down at the ground, suddenly overwhelmed with saddness, but when she looked back up her face was blank of all emotions. "The same as it used to be" she said, thinking of how many millions of times she'd read the books in the library, flown around the grounds, and explored the halls of the castle and the forest outside of it. "So 'uncle' Remus isn't handling this to well......" she said thinking aloud. Then she looked up at Star "Have you heard from Tonks much?" she asked, reffering to their older cousin Nymphadora Tonks, who was an auror for the minstry of magic.

she looks at Raina with regret in talking about the subject but responds " she's doing well her and father have been getting a long well though don't see a lot of each other"

"well at least they each have some speck of joy in their lives" She said, smiling faintly as she thought about the two of them. Then her reminising seems to fade and she looks up at Stella. "So how was your summer?" she askes, in an attempt to change the subject away from something so emotional.

Stella jumped slightly and looked at the two girls "Oh um... Not too too bad, just had to spend it out with my brother at his work site mainly" she nodded "He was working with Dragons this time so it was some what interesting...."

Star looked at Stella with more intereset, " Ooo dragons that sounds fun, i always wanted to go visit some dragons, especially Romania or somewhere out there"

Stella nods "Actually my summer was spent in Romania.... He was working with some new borns that they had to take care of because the mothers abandoned the eggs thinking they were duds, then they hatched and had no one to care for them" She says setting her paper down "it was interesting..... But I kinda wish the summer wasn't spent traveling around with him...."

"aww bet that was awesome to see those little baby dragons...oh no now im starting to sound like Hagrid lol, but what would have rather been doing than that" she asked inquiringly, looking around the great hall as she spoke for any sign of more gryffindors while listening.

Stella shrugged "I don't know... I think it's just the fact that when I'mnot in school I'd like a bit of a break to relax.... but i normally end up traveling with my brother...." She nodded She didn't discuss her mother and father too too often, because it tended to be a touchy subject. After a moment she finished her uice and stood "I'm sorry ladies, but I really have to get going...." She really wanted to stretch her legs and take a walk.

Jaden enters the great hall. She gathers a big plate of raw meat, and a bowl of water and places it underneath the tables. Cloud quickly squeazes under the seats, and gobbles it down. Jaden then grabs out of her bag, a book of potions and studies.

Raina nodds as Stella finshes up and leaves, then she turns back to her meal and her cousin. "So, what's George and Fred been up to?" she asks, trying to change the subject into something cheerful.

She looks back at Raina after Stella leaves and responds with a casual voice, "Oh you know they're doing really well at the shop and thinkin about buying out Zonkos which i encouraged George to do because i think it would really boost business not that they needed it or anything" She added with a wink

"Well if they do, then we will definately have to stop by there the next time we have a trip to hogsmead" she said, smiling as she pictured the twins actions, and outright laughing as she thought about all the tricks they pulled the previous year when Umbridge was pretending to be Headmaster.
