I am sure there are better ways of passing an important message across than using text talk. This just shows that the advertising companies are getting mighty lazy.

This annoys the living daylight out of me: When professional signs use U, R, or UR instead of you, are, or you're/your. UGH, I see it at least once a day. Seriously. I'm not even kidding.

Yeah, there are other options, such as the option my phone has:
It's called "Location", and when I turn it to "All locations," it makes my number as well as my location available to the person that's calling. For example, if my phone was stolen, all I'd have to do is call that number, trace the location, and go. It also works great if there's an emergency that requires me to call 911. So yes, there are other options. 3nodding
