I was just watching the news, and apparently some kids in Juneau, Alaska held up a sign at a school event that said "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" as a nonsensical phrase/joke. The school made then put it away and it became a big ordeal so it eventually went to the Supreme Court where the Supreme Court defied the First Amendment and told them that they don't have the freedom of speech to say that.
Canada actually looks like a good alternative sometimes. Jesus Christ.

I'm actually fighting to revamp the constitution. You shouldn't have the freedom to say whatever the hell you want in public. I believe in the freedom of discretionary speech. I do not believe it is right, nor acceptable for the KKK to be allowed to march through cities parading their racist politics in the middle of main street USA.
"Sure, you're free to do it, but did you need to do it? Did you take time to consider the seeds you ruined?"
I don't care about that kid and his sign, it's a stupid thing to go to court for. I do believe, however, that the school has the right to confiscate said sign due to its inappropriate nature. When marijuana is legalized I'm sure there wont be any problem, but as it stands now I agree with the supreme court.

MQuestionable G.W.S. Being American blows...first George Bush gets elected twice, and now this. I agree. This is crap. Bush is crap, I voted for Kerry...but after awhile I started to think. Kerry wasn't any better...and if he was ellected we would have to wait two terms instead of the one Bush had left, so I accepted the bullet to wait out one term instead of two. but *dances* Bush's run is almost over! WOOT! WOOT!

I'm a constitutionalist, and our government has been not following the constitution for over a century. Hell even some of the amendments are unconstitutional. It just makes me sick that the code that this country was based upon is only being used as "Suggestions" instead of the supreme law that it was supposed to be.
