It's just a cliff populated with dragons, do whatever you want.
There's a lake, a river, and a fair amount of trees.

Luxran Tordation sits on the edge of a river thinking about his dragon family. even though his family is still alive, they are somewhere else around the cliffs

Shaydra Silversky was doodling idly on an oak tree with her enchanted pencil when she sensed a presense in the lonely cliffs. Surprised, she accidently tapped one of her doodles twice with her pencil, making it come to life.
The pixie she had been doodling flew off the tree and to the direction of the person Shaydra had sensed. Lifting her wings, Shaydra followed it.
It was not long before she spotted a man sitting at the edge of the neardy river. The pixie was dancing around him, enchanting him. Shaydra landed on the riverside, startling the man and alarming the pixie. It flew out of sight, scolding loudly.
Shaydra turned to the man and growled in a friendly way. "Who are you and why have you come to grace me with your presence in these lonely canyons?" she asked.

"I had just come here from a village." Luxran said. "A small clan came by my village and killed everyone, Leaving me a refugee."

"What creatures were the clan made of?" Shaydra asked curiously. "Be they elf, dragon, dwarf, or human? I might know something about it."

"I didn't really see them but i think they were dwarves." Luxran said. "I'm not that sure because i was too busy running from them."

"Hmmm," Shaydra said, scratching her snout. "Dwarves usually are not on any side but thier own, but they've never been this active before."
"Unless..."
Shaydra's eyes widened, and she snorted silver dragon dust out excitedly. "They could be controlled by my foe," she said, more to herself than the man. "I've heard of him controlling species, but not this widespread..." She turned her attention back to the human.
"I am in these cliffs for a reason, sir. My dragon clan is being controlled by an evil overlord, whose species I do not know and lives somewhere in these cliffs. It seems to have taken control of the group that raided your village, too. I have tried rescuing my clan, but I was too hasty." She twisted momentarily, showing a scar close to her heart. "I have been waiting for more information, and was just considering flying to a human village when you came. But I need more information." She looked carefully at the man. "I have also heard that a couple - apparently married - is being held hostage by the overlord. Be they dragon or human, I do not know. Do you know anything about that, young sir?"

"I know my parents are human, they are married." Luxran said as something caught his eye. he walks over the the item and picked it up. "This... this is my mother's wedding ring." He turned to Shaydra. "Now that i find this, Your foe is my foe." Luxran walked around. "I learned of a man that could control any creature or group of creatures, as you described you foe. But I learned that the person can only control one group or person at one time. So if he were to control your clan and the dwarves at the same time, he wouldn't be able to, so he would need a place to put the people. That would me storing them in a cell or somewhere behind bars. Is there an abondoned jail near here?" he turned away. "If he has my parents, he shall die."

Shaydra bared her teeth. "The warriors of my clan could not have been kept behind bars forged by humans, nor our dragon mages kept behind magic barriers cast by men. I am afraid I know of no abandoned jail or mine, but then I have not long stayed in these cliffs. This overlord must have more power than I first thought." Sitting down, Shaydra sniffed the ring in the man's hands. "This does smell of humans. But there is also a faint dragon smell on it. Have you or your parents had any interactions with dragons? And I do not know your name yet, sir."

"I apologize, My name is Luxran Tordation." Luxran said. "I know that my parents met with a dragon right beofre i became a refugee, it was a business meeting."

"A buisiness meeting?" Shaydra asked, her scaly eyebrows arching. "For what kind of buisiness, may I ask? And sir...Luxran, do you know the species and name of the dragon?"

"I think my parents had been selling stuff to the dragon. I think it was the selling of some potions or something like that." Luxran said. "I faintly remember the dragon's name was Gotrag. I appologize if i didn't give you too much information."

"No, it's good enough that you know at least that much," Shaydra tilted her head. "As for your parents selling potions, I know nothing of this Gotrag. But I did hear about potions while I was in the overlord's fortress. But then, of course, it could be just a coincidence." Her tongue flickered out as if she was thinking of something. "Would you like to see this fortress? We would not be able to go inside, though."
