Nestled between two foothills outside of the capitol, a covered entrance hides a naturally-formed stairwell leading down into the earth. Ten minutes' descent brings one into an underground lake of molten lava.
The lake is as wide as a football field with a ring of stone edging it. In the middle of the lake is situated a wide, flat protrusion of rock.

Xio descended the stairway with stoic aplomb, in reverence of the building heat playing across his body as he neared the bottom. This place was his, only his personal page knew how to contact him here, and even he didn't know where Xio went once inside... indeed, even for most firebenders, they couldn't take the heat here, it would burn those without incredible firebending talent.
He stepped off the last step and turned the corner into the hellish cavern, feeling the flames erupting from the bubbles of volcanic gas. As he did every time, Xio checked to ensure that the ventilation shafts were still unblocked and working without problem.
With a wide smile, Xio welcomed himself home. He called the flames to him, enveloping his body as he leapt from the "dock" out to the stone at the middle of the lake. To one of the few firebenders like Xio who fed on heat and fire, this place was a holy grail - his power would be maximized here, and that made it so much easier to train.
Landing upon the stone, Xio dismissed the flames from his body, back to the lake with a short motion that looked like it should have belonged to an earthbender by its abruptness. For now, it was time to cleanse his mind and body by drawing in on the heat - meditating.
Xio, still in his full armor, removed the Ye Huo Ren and his Re cheng Jun Jia swords and laid them out around him, arranged as a diamond. This would be the area and the focus of his spiritual and mental connection.
The noble Sanada took a horse stance, legs spread shoulder-width apart and fists held in the chamber-lock position at his waist. He took in a deep breath of the burning air and held it within his lungs until he felt the toughened organs heating up... then released it in one controlled exhalation. In this way did he clear his mind and also delve deeper into hardening the totality of his body from heat and flame - greatening his ability to harness and absorb them.
Xio began to take up this breathing pattern, draw in until the lungs began to heat up... then let out gently, slowly, letting the bad air out.

Xio continued his breathing exercises with patience and control. Each breath brought in stifling heat and volcanic gas... here is when Xio reflected on negative emotions and improper thoughts, the anti-energies that existed to block his path to true personal power. Unlike most people who met him seemed to think, Xio was not a bad person, he was just a very serious young man.
All things considered in that intake, Xio calmed himself slightly more, and exhaled in a slow and controlled stream of flame - letting just a little more of the negativity out of his realm of kokoro to dissipate in the outside world. After twenty such repetitions, Xio's mind was once again clean and clear - ready to begin his regimen of training.
To begin, further breathing was involved, only, this was not to prepare his mind and soul, but to prepare his body. Xio's breaths were taken in longer, until his lungs reached maximum capacity - full of the scorching air. Xio closed his eyes, picturing a flame as if from a candle - frozen as ice. This was always his focal point in training, and part of the reason he was either known as Cold Fire or Flame Eater to some of his underlings.
As he felt the hot air begin to damage his already fire-hardened lungs, Xio let the breath out slowly and in a large quantity - controlled exhalation. Xio began the repetition as this.

Jin had been walking through the streets of the capital where he had stumbled apon the entrence of the training ground, literally. he stumbled and fell down the stairs in a tumbling notion. once he hit the bottom he stood up rubbing the back of his head where it hurt most simply cause he had landed on his head before he started tumbling down the stairs. he then looked around him and asked himself. "where am I?"

[[ One: Xio's training center is not in the capital, where you are. Therefore, you are not here. Two: You can't stumble into it, it's covered by a flat stone. Three: Ten minutes of falling down stone stairs would kill you about a minute in, and no matter how powerful you are, by the time you reached the bottom, you'd be mangled and broken - dead beyond repair. Sure you don't want to rethink that? ]]
