The stallion had been looking for his father for what seemed like months and had come to the conclusion that his father showed up when he wanted to and was not one who would then be found again. He had given up, he didn't want to but it seemed so pointless to still be looking when he could be spending time with Christabel.
So now he was on his way back to her, he was heading towards where she took him to meet her family, it would make sense that she would be with them but then this was Christabel and she could be anywhere. He wouldn't mind though, he was sure she would be as beautiful as last time he saw her. There was no doubt in his mind that he was the luckiest stallion alive.

 Christabel was steadily getting bigger and bigger after Bes left and she was so confused about everything. She discovered that she like to eat more and she prefers to stay on the ground instead of soaring in the skies like she should belong there. She just got back to the small meadow from a small visit with her herd sister Isabella and the realization hits her when Isabella told her that she thinks that Christabel is heavy because she is with foals.
A small indulgent smile appears on her muzzle as Christabel felt the foals kick her inside the protection of their womb. She sighs happily as she rears up, flapping her wings to stretch her wings out. Christabel suddenly spun around as she hears Bes' hooves approaching and she beams widely when she sees who it is. "Bes!!" She cries out happily as she races over to him.

Her golden body, her beautiful wings, yes it was her. How could he miss her in this mass of green, she was like the sun so bright and beautiful.
"Christabel!" He smiled until he realised something was odd, she didn't look normal, she smelt different. He snorted a little and tilted his head sideways, narrowing his eyes.
"Whats wrong? Something is different!" he couldn't see that she was fatter, it was hard to with her wings in the way, not that there was anything wrong with the wings they just seemed to be in the way of her lovely pregnant tummy.

Christabel tries not to blush as she looks at Bes sheepishly. "Bes.. I have something to show you.." She says in now nervous yet happy voice while extending her wings away from her body so her pregnant belly is able to be seen. "You are going to be a daddy, Bes..." She peeks at him expectantly, hoping to see that he will be thrilled about them being parents.
Christabel moves closer to her mate and nuzzles him to re-cement their bond before she murmurs happily because she is home with her mate once again.

Bes looked at her belly in shock, he was going to be a father? Already? It was unexpected that was for sure but at least it would make them both grow up a little. Then it hit him.
"Does your father know? He will try and kill me!"
Bes was worried about Christabel's father, he had already given Bes a hard time and he had now knocked Christabel up! Bes would go into hiding till the babies were born.
"I can't wait to tell my mother, she will be so happy!"

Christabel blushes a** she smiles at Bes shyly. "Yeah... he knows...He told me to tell you to take care of me or he will come after you." Christabel says with a slight frown on her face. She doesn't like general attitude of her father toward her mate. But he will have to deal with it because Christabel is determined to stay with Bes and raise a family with him.
"She will be?" Christabel says hopefully as she smiles lightly at Bes while she rests her wings against her swollen stomach tiredly.

"I'm not surprised and yes mother will love to have little ones running around again! She loves foals." He spoke softly and nuzzled her neck slightly. Christabel looked tired which worried him a little, he didn't want her getting too tired.
"You ok?" He was already worrying, then he always was a nervous thing. He just had a chance at happiness now and he didn't want anything to go wrong. He was going to have a family, kids. It would be wonderful!

Christabel smiles as she nuzzles his shoulder before she murmurs happily. "I am fine, Bes.. just tired. The babies inside me is moving around so much. I think their time is nearing.." She smiles at her mate. She looks like she is ready to sit down and just sleep until the babies come but she wants to spend every waking moment with her mate.
"They are healthy and strong.." Christabel says with a tired smile on her face. On the cue, two or three bumps appears and disappears on side of her swollen stomach indicating that one of the babies is awake and is moving around. "Oi... not in the bladder.." She noses her stomach.

Bes nodded and just stood with her, trying to support her as much as he could though he felt somewhat helpless, after all he could see the foals moving about. He just kept nuzzling and nipping affectionately at his mate, to let her know he was still there and he wasn't going anywhere any time soon.
"Just rest Christabel, I will be here by your side the whole time. I don't want you over doing it so just rest." He nuzzled her as he spoke trying to get her to lay on her side and to rest, she didn't look good.

Christabel is very grateful for Bes at this moment as she grunts when she lays down near Bes, her upper body is under Bes' body and she closes her eyes. A deep exhale escapes her lips as she stays motionless while she rests up. While the foals inside her continues to move and kicking her organs which caused her to twitch or make some kind of annoyed grunts.
Few days have passed by... and Christabel and Bes is now proud parents of two baskets, one male and one female. Its the pain Christabel do not desire to experience once again. She swore she was going to die when the labor started but the mere sight of her children for the first time made up for all of that.
"Bes..." She nibbles her mate's shoulder.

Watching his mate give birth was something he didn't want to go through again but looking down at the two beautiful baskets he couldn't help but feel like the proudest father in the world. They were just beautiful and he knew that they would have such a great family.
"Well down Christabel." He smiled and nuzzled her while looking at the two baskets.
"We will need to start thinking of names to call them!"

Christabel nudges one basket closer to other so they could stay warm subconsciously without even thinking about it before she looks at Bes with a smile on her face. "You too, Bes... at least you didn't run away this time." The tired alicorn teases her mate as she stretches her body out then she looks at the baskets then at Bes.
"Hm..." She pauses as she looks at the dark colored basket then looks at Bes. "What do you think.. of Meshach for the dark one?" She says as she looks at him while pondering on possible names.

He smiled at her tease, there wasn't much point in trying to say anything so a smile seemed the right thing to do.
"Maybe, if its a boy, but what if it is a girl and the brown basket is a boy? Or if they are both girls or both boys." He was thinking a lot, after all these were his children and he was a father, however odd and scary that seemed.
"Meshach is a nice name though if one is a boy."

Christabel giggles as she smiles at Bes before she noses both of the baskets closer to Bes before she looks up at him. "Shall we wait until our children decide to peek out of the baskets before we decide on the names? I think it would be easier that way.. and I am very sure that our babies will show their personalities the second they pop out." She says in amused manner.
The light brown basket wiggles before there is a soft chirping sound coming from the basket.

Bes looked at his mate and nodded.
"Yes that is probably the best way to do it." He nuzzled her happily. They were at last a family. He had children and they would be beautiful.
