I re-watched this a couple of days ago...
Its really cruel, if you ask me. But then again, if someone meant THAT much to you, you'd go to there funeral in real life.

"Yes we know we are assholes biggrin "

Well, at least they're aware of the fact that they're scum of the earth.

Not to mention the comment by the video's author. "and those horrible failures of human beings planned a funeral for her... " So, when a person you've played with and befriended dies, doing something as thoughtful as honoring her memory makes you a horrible failure?

I'm sickened beyond words.

Not to mention, it might not have been possible for them to go to her funeral. People play all over the world, and traveling is expensive. When all you have is a game, that I'm sure she loved, it's touching that they did what they could to express their mourning.

I have talked to a person who was there.

They were idiots beyond belief... Not for the funeral, but for these reasons.

1. They did this in a friggen neutral zone.
2. They announced it on the forums.
3. They unsheathed their weapons to show they wouldn't hurt anybody.

They were asking to get screwed.

Even though... It was sad.

But, in the same breath, you gotta admit that it was pretty damned stupid what the Horde were doing aswell...

Yes, by all means honor the person who you befriended who just died.
But don't announce it on the forums.
Don't place it in a PVP zone.
Don't invite shmucks like this to ruin it... 'cause that's what you're doing. Yes, they probably do sympathise with you to some extent but placing yourself into a position to be destroyed was just damned stupid.

I've watched this a few times and I think that every time... And yes, I laugh. It's a funny video to a sad event.

Okay they deserved being wasted. Even my roommate who hates WoW with a passion had to ask "Why did they hold it where they could be attacked?" And she knows very little about WoW.

It's a bit sickening that the alliance would break it up like that, but seriously, what were the horde THINKING?! PvP zone + forums = ganking
    Simple, no?

From what i hear the Girl was playing on an American PVP server but was from China. So if she made friends with people in America, then its kinda hard for them to go to her funeral in real life in China.
