This is a thread for the appreciation of Quillish Wammy, also known as Watari. He was, and will always be the most moe out of every anime character.

I admit, his name is fantastic. How can you not respect a man named 'Quillish'?
Not many people care about him, but in the story he is portrayed as a great man. He built orphanges and helped a super genius fight crime with his fortune. How much cooler can you get?

Watari was an awesome person, and no doubt helped a ton of children by establishing the orphanage. Though he never quite got the recognition and respect he so rightfully deserved.

He has a weird name, although I have to agree, how can you not respect a man named 'Quillish'? And then again, most of the people with 'Western' names are... weird. Highlight for name spoilers? -> Mail Jeevas and Mihael Keehl? Eh? ._.;;
But he does deserve much more appreciation than he seems to get. :[

SPOILERS FOR DN MOVIE THE LAST NAME:
I thought the ending was so sad! L wasn't able to save Watari from being killed by the death note! And before L died, he had a picture of Watari beside him! ;_;

I know! He was hardly in the series but really important to the storyline because he pretty much shaped L. Without WAtari where would L be??
