people comment on your art or writing, and say really, really unrelated things?
a RL friend of mine does this,
and i don't tell her off because i'm too nice... xD (haha then why am i ranting here?)
but it really annoys me. ; 3;
every time i submit a picture, i don't get a critique, or even a 'nice picture' or 'cute' sometimes.
i get something like 'first comment!', 'are you going to town tommorrow', 'my camera isn't working' or something along those lines....
anyways, i think i've gone on enough. i'm sorry D8
so,
anyone get this?
annoyed by it?

:/ I've never posted in the Art Arena on gaia... (which is what I'm assuming you're referring to.) But yeah, that would be pretty obnoxious.
I hate it in real life when people (who can't even draw a straight line, mind you,) try to tell you how to improve the picture. I've even been told to turn my women into men! stare

heh, I can only draw boys... and when my friends see my art their like: OMG, why can't you draw girls?
You messed up on the neck. It curves. See??
The hair looks weird... it poofs out more, it doesn't stick to the head.
OMG, what are those?? The hands??
Dang, you suck. xd
I don't like posting my art in the arenas. I mean, all those people you don't even know saying one word things like: nice.
Or all those.... people... who say things like: First post! And your art sucks. Get a life.
That really pisses me off. stressed

I never post in there because, first of all, my art sucks, and second, I don't think they consider photography an art form.
(but it is, or that's what I believe)

I posted a piece on DA the other day - it was a picture I did of my avatar. One of my friends commented "You're on Gaia too?" ...I wanted to reply "WE'RE BOTH ON MSN, TALK TO ME THERE".
What I hate more than that is when a friend comments "I wish I had your talent!" or "You're so much better than me!" or "You make my stuff look like crap!" - 'cause, I mean, what do I say to that? "I'm sorry I've been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil"?
