In the first one, I think it'd be clearer that she was slapped by him if you had turned her shoulders more towards him to give her that nice twisting motion would have added a bit more action to the picture. :3
The boat is awesome. What do you use to ink or was it done digitally?

That boat is stronger work than I expected from you. The drawing of people is kind of standard, though. Don't you hate anime? Are you alright with regular, monotonous cartooning? Find something that inspires you, V.

Find something that inspires you, V. No, I'm not at all satisfied with this. I think that I do need to keep experimenting until I come up with something jazzy, but I am largely uninspired I think.

maybe you should study from realism more, and develop a style from there. people tend to try to learn from drawings, and their art ends up coming out generic.
the boat is really nice and the glowiness is really neat, but i'm not fond of the first one. the lines are weak.

lol plz maybe you should study from realism more, and develop a style from there. people tend to try to learn from drawings, and their art ends up coming out generic. you are probably right, i haven't really done much for realism in like 10 years
