So yea, I have actually found a clas I really do like. I dont mind soloing and I dont get lonely, I dunno why. surprised But! I was just curious as to what hunters used as pets, their build for leveling, and if they are wanted end game, if so for what. Right now, I am usuing a boar, he can hold pretty good agro, and he has charge which is nice. I am going BM for leveling. razz Also this is the build I am going to try to do. Is it good? Any tips on it?

Hunters are a PvP class, then a Solo Pve class, then a group PvE class.
A BM specced hunter is alright for Leveling, alright in low level instancing, and very good PvP.
In End-game PvP they still are a good asset to a BG, but in End-game instances, BM specced hunters are one of the lowest on the lsit because a pet is too unreliable to do decent dps [[this counts in high-level instances where boss AoEs can deal 2k damage per aoe]]. And to be honest, unless you ahve 100% control of your pet, pets are normally really stupid.
With a Boar, you are good for PvP with charge. However, if you ever want to Instance with your hunter, I personally would pick a pet that does something for the group considering Pets don't do much else except DPS. A good example would be a Wolf or a screecher Owl or vulture. Spiders are ok when it comes to this, but the poison is relatively weak damage.
From what I can see, Bm hunters are only good during PvP.
and for your spec, get rid of catlike reflexes and get ferocious inspiration. Damage will be much more important of an asset to you than survivalbility. And Ferocious Inspiration compliements ferocity because your pet will crit alot of the time.

This thread isnt JUST about a build, it also concerns hunter pets, and end game material. neutral

Soppon Please be aware that in the help and glitches subforum I have added a new sticky that is to be used for ALL talent spec discussion. Don't like this, then go QQ. It's creating a lot of useless garbage in the guild having 23852198125372348 threads on hunter specs. Also be aware that I will be deleting on sight any and all new talent spec threads created. Soppon FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS DO NOT MAKE NEW THREADS ASKING ABOUT TALENT SPECS. All questions about talent specs should be asked HERE AND HERE ALONE. Like I said, this isnt just about talents. Its about other aspects of hunters too. There is a reason it hast been deleted "on sight" yet. Its because it has more questions than just "My bild gewd? smile smile "

I'd go more with this build, and then 2 more, maybe go for the throat if your pet has growl and bite or claw on instant cast. And since this is more then just a spec thread, i like raptors, bears, and cats the best. But if you become one of those "rare" really good hunters, BM is the best spec to have by far until you start raiding, even lvl 70 5 mans they're great =D
