aoe ranger: lol are you kidding me???? you should use no more than 60 sta if you practice on how to tank a decent size mob... if you had that little dex, you would take years to kill a mob lol. (using a hyperbole but whatever) okay for all those who CAN'T handle it, it's because you don't have the right equips or even upgraded them. this is mainly due to the fact that most players i see now-a-days are lazy and rely on plvls, then they wonder why they're poor. But for you lazy poor folks that finally decide to train, but aren't skilled enough or even have the proper equips to train... i guess a limit of 100 sta wouldn't hurt lol. by the time you get to 90... or 105 for the ranzer/raze set, you can go pure dex... since you should have at least an ABow with either the okas/oska or ranzer/raze set depending on your level. As for INT... jajajajajajaja you run out of mp too fast that i doesn't matter anyways... as for spell damage... lol you do more damage with your aoes with dex than with int.
1v1 ranger: lol i don't see many people make this, since 1v1 skills or damage:dex ratio is so horrible beyond comparison. most pvp rangers i see are all aoe builds
razz mainly meant for silent arrow in guild siege or guild duels. if you still insist on going 1v1 build... you might as well have become a Bow Jester w/30 or 40 sta(near 105 most restat over to YJ or go full dex BJ)... cause your just wasting your time and effort.

str/dex build jesters: on the right track but pure dex is a BJ build, pure str is rarely heard of unless you can pull off REALLY good arek rings and/or get really good awakenings... cause a Yoyo Jester doesn't require that much aspd but do rely on crits and accuracy. Most are hybrids to take advantage of the ammount of crit chance they get per 10 dex, and then increase their attack more by pumping the rest into str.... some jesters i've seen with some sta to pvp and solo, cause the rarity of high lvl RM's.
I don't mind BJ's but i'd rather have the LG Bows become more AoE oriented since the Abow is the best bow for training after lvl 90... which is rather irritating but whatever.
I don't like to say how much you should put into each stat, cause every player is different!!!! choose the stats that best suit your playing style and internet connection... lol but for those that are curious.... my first time i was able to bring in more income than expenses was at lvl 75 as a ranger. I've been training as a ranger a long time and have had many successful rangers become rather wealthy by just aoeing regular monsters... and by this level i was able to giant w/o a RM.
this is before you were able to upgrade jewelry.... but here's my favorite build for a lvl 75 ranger along with equips:
Str: 15 base (+2 from set)
Sta: 60 base (+2 from set, +14 from stam rings)
Dex: 148 base (+2 from set)
Int: 15 base (+2 from set)
+6 stam rings x2
+5 plug earrings x2 (which is like +9 or something now since they changed up accessories)
+6 gore (which became a +11 gore if i remember right)
+8 oska set w/+28% hp
Gbow *perferably a gbow but at times i am not able to acquire on due to the price, or can't make it... a least now giants drops them pretty nicely*
this build allowed me at =LEAST= a 10 monster AoE and sufficient time to farm mushpoies for weapons with party skills, these guys sure drop alot of weapons and equips that you can at least begin to save up for the ABow and raze/ranzer set.
