oh hmmm. I just read about this poor boy in Spanish Lake who was getting terrorized by gangs. There was a mob outside his house attacking and he shot into the crowd aned they are going to charge him as an adult for murder, and they arrested his mom.

He's only 16. Its bullshit. Its self defense in my opinion, and if the system had did its job he never would have had to take it into this oown hands. lemme see if I can hunt up the article.

(St.Louis post dispatch btw)

Bullies like that tend to have a way of always being there when authority is not and vanishing as soon as the authorities appear, which tends to be right after the victim retaliates because of the lack of authority.

It's happened to me before. When I was in school. I would be bothered and pestered and bullied and nobody evr did anything about it. Then when I finally take things into my own hands is when somebody finally pays attention. But at that point they don't care what provoked my reaction, the reaction is all they care about.

Authority is overrated. If they really did their job right, then there would be no crimes or abuse like that in the first place.

It says something pretty bad about our society when one feels sympathy for the convicted and not the "victims".

God forbid we try to defend ourselves. It's one of the reasons why I'm glad I live in a rural area now.

Definitely self-defense. It's not like the victim seeked out the gang.

Agree with you. It unfortunately happens and it's like if they weren't even looking out for your best interests.
