I fought through the darkness
And all my fears
I struggled through my pain
And all my tears

All just to get away
From your firm grasp
To get away before
I collapse

Now I’m putting pieces
Back together
And getting my life back
With you gone forever.

#2-Fear of Loving You

Although you hurt me
I cant leave
I go back into your arms
I try to believe,
That everything will be ok
That you wont do it again
That you will love me
Until the end.

But will it work out?
I really hope so
Im thinking yes
But my heart says no.
And guess what happens?
My heart was right
I got hurt again
And lost the fight.

On my cheek
Is a tear
Not of joy
But of fear.
I never would have thought
Never had a clue
That some day I
Would fear loving you.

You said you’d stay
You said you’d never leave me
But you never do what you say.

You left me to drown
In all my tears
With my broken heart
And all my fears

You said to take you back
You said it was a mistake
You said it would be ok
But you’re just a fake

You didn’t love me
You didn’t care
For all the memories
That we shared

Why should I take you back
After you took a knife
And stabbed my heart
Then took my life.
