miatas are horribly underpowered and engine wise i would recommend the 5.0l ford v8...and yes it will fit

 Is it just me or does the Dodge Demon concept look almost like a Miata? I guess Dodge lkes the Miata too. If you get rid of the front grill i would mistake it for a Miata anyday. I don't about from the rear but definitly from the front.

No I've noticed that about the Dodge Demon too. It's actually quite sad at how many of the car companies that are producing cars almost identical to another company's car design.

I've got a question.
Is there a difference between the Mx-5 and the Miata, or are they the same car just badged differently. Here in South Africa they're Mx-5s and if they wheren't so horribly over priced, I'd certainly look at getting one!
I don't think they're underpowered, they're perfect for really twisty roads.

Miata's are awesome. I have a 97 miata that i named mina. She is the second best thing that's ever happened to me.(If I said first, my fiancee would probably dump me.)

Mitas, roadsters, MX-5's=the same car the mx=5 is the sport version and comes with either mazda option package b, c, or f if i remeber right.
and the dodge demon was designed to compete directly with the S2000 and the miata.

I'm going to ressurect this, because I like Miatas too. The Miata is fine as it is, with whatever engines it came with for whichever generation. It's balanced wonderfully, and won autocross events like there was no tomorrow (until Pontiac cheated and did that super track prepped "showroom stock" option for the Solstice) for ages and ages. I had more fun driving the MX-5 than I did the RX-8 at a Zoom-Zoom Live event.

Yeah Miatas are cool. I always associate them with a Lotus but I don't know if that would be the right thing to do or not. As for the Dodge concept, it looks more like an Audi TT to me rather than a Miata, but thats just my opinion.

The Elise is such a cute little bug!
