It was snowing. The little Kuniku was a mass of fluff as he sat huddled within a small cave, attempting to keep warm. Masao yawned as he watched the large flakes of snow fall to the earth, blanketing it in a layer of snow. He ruffled his wings before pressing them tightly against his body; half closing his eyes and letting his mind wander to other places.
Despite the cold he felt content. The snow might be cold but it was beautiful. Masao enjoyed just watching it slowly drift down to earth. Their lives were short. But at least in that short time they got to be such a pretty thing. Did they enjoy it?
Silly thoughts. Masao yawned.

 Aiko hated it when it snowed. She didn't mind it on the ground, but when it fell from the sky, it was a particular problem for the Kuniku. She always disliked it when her glossy red coat got covered with the frosty white flakes. And now, just when she was enjoying her walk on gentle mountainside, the sky had opened it up again.
She furrowed her brow and dashed around the mountain, looking for a place to take shelter. Finally, Aiko had found a small cave to keep her perfect coat out of the hazardous weather. She hurried inside the cave and shoke herself vigorously to remove as much snow as she could.
After her de-snowing, she glanced around her refuge for the moment. There she spotted another Kuniku pup. She stared at him with her golden eyes. The little Kuniku didn't want to share her haven with another. Especially a boy.(( *Fails at decent RP >.>* ))

Ah, look. How strange. Suddenly something but the white flakes was in his line of sight.
There was a red blur darting across the snow towards his little haven. Masao watched it curiously as it got closer and closer. And when it’s form eventually becoming that of another Kuniku blinked in delighted surpise.
The female pup made her way inside the cave and proceeded to clean herself of snow, completely missing him in his little space nearby. In this moment of invisibility he watched her calm, interested eyes.
It would be nice to meet another of his kind and together there would be a lot more warmth. When she finally did notice him he gave her a happy little smile, wriggling on the spot ever so slightly. "Hello." Masao said softly, ignoring the wariness in her demeanour.

"Hi," said the pink Kuniku simply.
She then proceeded to go to the opposite end ofthe cave to the boy, and sat abruptly, obviously displeased that she had to share this cave with someone.
(( Blaaah.. so un-inspired! XD ))

Oh, she was colder than the snow outside. Masao wilted a little bit, curling even further into his feathers. There went any ideas of companionship and warmth. But at least she was still here, maybe after a while she might warm up to the idea of being a little more sociable.
The Kuniku continued watching the snow. It began to fall heavier, the wind picking up and driving it into twisters of white. They were going to be stuck here for a while, if they didn’t want to get lost in a snowstorm that was.
Masao turned slightly to look at the red-furred female crouched at the end of the cave. Soon he gathered his courage, stood and padded over. Sitting down in front of her, he cleared his throat. “My name is Masao. What’s yours?” He said, watching her with blue and just daring her to refuse an answer.
