Where did cussing come from and the origin of the middle finger? eek I mean if they are bad words why the ******** did they make them? "pardon the f bomb" 3nodding

well... I'm not sure about cussing but the middle finger was for death people who needed to learn sign language... and wanted to swear I guess lol

The word ******** and the middle finger are not world wonders. They didn't just pop up one day for everyone to use.
The hand gesture can be dated back as far as the Roman times. There is still a lot of arguments about it though. Some historians think it was used as it is today and others believe it was it was a way to divert the threat of the evil eye. So yeah, showing your middle finger is nothing new.
As for cussing, it is another thing that's been around for awhile. Once a language is created and is used by the people of the community, there will usually be words that are profane. After all, I seriously doubt waring tribes would have yelled niceties during a fight.

Well I am pretty sure that you could find the origins in a dictionary. You know those really big books full of big and little words that don't make sense if you read a page in order(I mean read it like a book folks, not that we can't understand definitions, but truthfully from front to back the dictionary has no plot.)? I think you know what I am talking about here, you could you know, get one and...(we ask that you please pause in your reading now for dramatic effect, that should have sufficed) look up ******** and a** and all the other words that you want to know about.
