Fiara had called on outside help to get her fiery father away from the house for a while. That being Tria, a family friend that her father had once brought to visit Numa Land some time ago. When Fi told Trillatay her plan the Feli was more than happy to keep Xiang away from home for some time.

So, Tria had arrived really early in the morning requesting that Xiang come with her and help find her little brother who had not been seen in a while and even though he was a loner he usually hung around the House the Feli called home. "Please, please Xiang? Ishouin desu."

With a quick hug to his daughter and a lot of reassurance from Tria that they would be back soon, Xiang lifted off, he was a strong flyer and the distance to the Feli's House and lands were not measured in miles, he didn't think it would take much time searching with two sets of eyes. Dark was probably asleep in a tree somewhere and Tria just had not waited long enough, he'd come home when he was hungry, he'd said to her, but she had insisted...


Little did Xiang know Dark was not at all missing, instead he was hiding in Numa Land and waiting for Xiang and Tria to leave, to come out and help put up decorations until he got bored and found something more amusing to do, or they finished.

Just minutes after Xiang and Tria were nothing more than two orange dots on a bright blue sky, Fiara was off to find Dark and then post a message in the Numa Land common area, where many were sure to see it and come.

"Darrrrrk!"

"Oi, not so loud girl, you'll wake the dead." High in a sweet tea purple tree sat a very dark purple Feli, his feathered wings were almost black and were currently folded against his back, but then he stretched them and glided down. Fiara just laughed.

"Oh no, not till much later, he likes to sleep in." Fi was yanking the Feli's chain, though infact she was hoping to get message to her Uncle and his family, they were invited as sure as anything, but Fi didn't know if they would come.

"Whaa?"

Fi was sure that Dark didn't have a clue what she was talking about but she just smiled and pulled him along with her. Tria had told her that he needed someone to boggle his mind every once in a while for he was prone to doing that to others. Just wait until you meet George, Fiara thought with another grin. Oh, she hoped, I want today to be grand for father, I want lots of people to come!

Meanwhile, George had been told that there was going to be a surprise party and that she could come and bring a friend if she wanted to. Currently she was deep in the Swamps looking for flowers and collecting ones that she thought were nice into a basket. So far she only had a few blooms and they were a sight; large dark petals tightly closed up with short stems.

Full of hot air? Don't any girls think I'm interesting anymore? Dark grumbled to himself and Daisuke while tearing and twisting strips of crepe paper. The memory of a youth gone by didn't know what to say to the older male, he dare not laugh. Dark set down the roll that he had been using and picked up another color, he glanced at Fiara, she was attempting to do many things at once; first she tore many strips of tape and attached them to a table edge then she'd stop doing that and open more boxes, moving things around and piling stuff on the table, noise makes, party hats, plates cups, all in bright colors then she'd run off to another task. "Oi, chill a tick girly." But Fiara kept right along, moving between projects like her toes were on fire.

How his mother had found out about the party, Naoki would probably never know. How she discovered Alice & Piper & their odd little familiar were in Numa Numa Land could be guessed, but that too the large chocolate furred male did not know for sure. The only thing he did know was why she had insisted they all come. Mysidia loved a gathering. Loved a party for any reason. And an open party for a numa's birthday was a terrific opportunity for both. "Did you kweh remember to sssay sssomething to kweh Da?" The treeish male asked the chocobo female, flying above them bearing a huge basket of cookies as she made sure none of the numa in the group got away. Naoki's butterfly, Thanh, giggled in the large male's ear. "Of kweh course I told Ryuune!! I'd not forget kweh something like that!" Mysidia chirped happily.

"I still don't see why we have to come." The striped familiar spoke up with a scowl where he rode on a blonde female's shoulders, ignoring the purposeful shake she gave them at his comment. "We don't know the guy." "oh, hush, Cat." Alice admonished with a regal & long suffering air. "Cheshire!!" The small creature bellowed, puffing poutily. "Do I look like a cat to to you?" Bright blue eyes sparkled impishly at her companion, smiling tenderly into the male's chocolate brown eyes. He arched a brow lightly at her with a slight shrug and a hint of a grin, repositioning the basket he carried. Inside was freshly baked sweet bread, baked with honey wheat they had found since being unceremoniously dumped back in NNL by the talaye Weasley Twins. "You make it too easy to pick on you, Cheshire." Piper said softly, daring to nudge his 'mate's' cheek lightly with his nose seeing her make a face at having her 'fun' curbed.

"Dark? Help me carry this table outside." Many numa were coming, Fi was sure and the day was so nice anyway, why not setup outside?

Dark taped the streamer he was holding to the wall and then moved to grab the other end of the table. "Sure but you lead." the feli stated with a smirk, he was noticeably smaller than the numa girl though he wouldn't admit to not being able to do something that she could.

Once they had gotten the laden table outdoors Fi turned to go back in and grab more of the decorations and streamers but was stopped when she heard a familiar voice, she turned and was happily surprised to see Bea and another numa coming up the path. "Bea! Oh, you came, I'm so happy! Who's your friend?" Fiara's eyes remained on Bea for a moment then she noticed that other numa were making their way towards them, tears of happiness sprang to her eyes. "How much faster the deocrating will go now with so many helping hands~"

She thanked personally each one that had brought something and then showed them were they could store their stuff. "Thank you all for coming! Umm, I'm Fiara, Xiang's daughter and this is Dark, he's a friend of the family. Ah father isn't here now cause Tria, Dark's big sister, stole him away for me, heh. They should be back sometime after noon and there is still a lot of decorating to be done, if you want to help, I'm be so grateful. Of course you don't have to, oh, there are also game to unpack and set up, our human friend gave me a ton of stuff, I haven't sorted through it all yet~"

Setting down some tools to his side and setting it upon himself to put up some loose balls. His mind only to work and be used as a tool. Not in a bad way like some people would use the word but he was there for duty. This all happening after he bowed to the female who greeted his sister Bea and saying a good cold hello. His fish still looking around at all who started to fill the place. It was making him anxious and more uncomfortable than ever.


Beatrice on the other hand hugged on to her friend. "Hola fiara! Este es my brother Armageddon but we call him Arma. He come help you too with me. Later One will bring food special from our house. Yes?" She smiled greatly and looked back at all the other numas filling in the room. Wow. She hadn't been around THIS much numas ever... she wondered if she could befriend them all.. but she blushed and got nervous. "Ay.. no se.. there so much people come.." Her wings folded in.

"Thank you both for coming Bea, Arma. Who else is coming, more family?" Fiara took a moment to look around at the gathered before responding, "I hope lots of people come, the more the better~!" She was super excited.

Fiara's ears twitched at a very familiar sound, though after turning her head to greet who she though had arrived she realized that the voice was different. Excusing herself from Bea, and with a wide smile on her face Fiara made her way over to the yellow female and her kin. "Hello~ Welcome and most of all thank you for coming." Fi began addressing the females as the males of the group had moved off to lighted their loads.

"I, umm, well first of all, I don't quite know what needs to be done first." Fiara laughed in spite of herself, "Our human friend gave me lots of party stuff when I told her what I was planning, I haven't unpacked it all, there are games in some of the boxes in the kitchen along with decorations, I think I have most of those unpacked, but they still need to be put up, and balloons. I have cake hiding in the pantry and Kittie is bringing ice cream later. Anything you'd like to do I guess." She smiled and then turned her attention directly on the chocobo, nervous to introduce herself, she was unsure how to start.

"Umm, umm, You're ah, Ashe's mother aren't you? I don't know if she's mentioned me, Ashe is, she's my very best friend you see, I'm Fiara, its very nice to meet you. Do you know is she coming, will her father be coming too?" A light blush marred Fi's dark cheeks as her words tumbled out, she had the urge to hug the older female but held back, she was clearly nervous.

Meanwhile Dark was in the kitchen, Numa were coming in and he pointed out a table on which they could drop off the goodies they had brought with them. He had been gathering up what he could of the unpacked decorations to move then outside and had a thought, "We don't have enough tables or chairs. Cups, plates, drinks and food aren't going to be a problem, not in this place," he waded past a couple of boxes loaded with plastic dishes mostly grumbling to himself, he was annoyed at all these larger creatures, none of which would know him, nor of heard of him, nor care; it was the same as the Feli grounds, he couldn't get his old way of life out of his head, thought it was something he could never have.

Dragging a box as best he could with his tail and dodging large feet as he went he deposited a box of streamers out of doors and then went back inside for more stuff. A package of balloons sat open on the table which he ignored, how was he supposed to manage balloons anyway, he lacked thumbs!

Mysidia of course had no such hangups and before even Naoki could blink -who of course should have known better- the chocobo female had thrown her arms around Fiara in happy mother mode. "oh!!!! I'm so kweh glad!! And I hope they come! I kweh do! Told Ryuune soon kweh as I heard! Best friends is like kweh daughter & daughter means new kweh sister for Naoki!"

With all the jubilance & energy that way Mysidia, she pulled her large son into the hug too. Naoki paled slightly, trying to keep the basket from being damaged and giving the female that was his sister's friend an apologetic smile for his mother. "Sssorry about kweh Ma.... jussst how ssshe kweh isss."

Piper raised a brow, chuckling softly while his mate & their familiar simply blinked. Then cheshire started to chuckle. "Forgot... with Mys it might just be mad!"

With a happy squawk Mysidia flew to direct those that came with her into helping with the decorations. Alice managed to hide an eye-roll at which her mate chuckled beneath his breath, brown eyes dancing. Cheshire for his part was too busy hiding in Alice's long blonde hair so that he would not be conscripted to help to make derogatory sounds or comments himself. Naoki -accustomed to his mother's energy and enthusiasm- obeyed her directions as quickly as possible with many soft squawks & kweh's, his leaf-green eyes wide as if with fear or terror. So many numa so many numa...

After a while every decorative notion the chocobo female could lay a paw on festooned some part of the party area. Perhaps not exactly the way Fiara might have envisioned it... but then Mys' daughter's friend had not been specific, had she?

Left with nothing to do, the golden furred female was getting her son and the blue butterfly that flitted around his head to help her make more decorations from the sugar grasses and some candy flowers she had found by weaving them into crowns and necklaces & wreaths. To keep her from getting into anything else the cosplay pair were slowly assisting in their endeavors. Yellow eyes and a purple nose peeked out from the mane of Alice's hair, but the mouthy familiar looked too frightened of party preparations to speak out.
