Okay, I know I'm definitely more into dolls that are at least MSD size (I'm saving for Hewitt 2, Tsubaki, and F-09.) But lately, I've been looking at Kumi from Bambicrony. I don't know what possessed me to want her, but I kind of do. Thackery's kinda bugged me lately about it. rofl Anyway, I just had some questions to clear up.
Such as, what kind of clothing size should I get for Kumi?
Would Yo-SD clothes fit?
What other doll clothes are Bambicrony dolls compatible with?
What size wigs would she wear best?
The wig I want for her was just sold out. Where can I find other wigs that fit?
How heavy is she? Is her resin a good quality, as in, does it feel more like stone or plastic?
Etc.
If you guys can answer these questions, that would be great. Actually, if you can think up more questions and answer them, that'd be awesome too. Thanks!

The people in the tiny size-oriented discussion at DoA seem to know everything. The only thing i know about them is that the resin does yellow over time which a lot of people don't like.
(btw i love ur taste in dolls)

DoA is definately your best bet. Doll wigs can be bought anywhere in the world- just measure the circumferance of her head and then shop online or in stores. Heck, google doll wig and you'll find hundreds of sites. From the one I touched the weight and resin quality were similar to most BJD of that quality/price range. @__@ I dunno what else you want.
One thing to note is that Bambicrony has been having serious quality control and service issues over the last several months. If you want a doll guaranteed not to arrive with flaws in the resin, you'd be best off buying an older doll used from someone on DoA or ebay (or other doll forum) until their issues are resolved.

Anything for a Yo will fit, though some things may be a little loose in the waistband. Not enough to cause problems though, as my Shimmy has a lot of Volks outfits and shoes. XD With stompy boots on. So not a whole lot of heavy. She fits in my small purse quite nicely too. Her resin quality is wonderful. It's not plasticy, or shiney, and she's quite the sturdy little thing. I'm so bad about dropping her someitmes and never even a dent. <3

Bambicrony dolls fit Yo-Sd clothes. They are slightly slimmer, so some clothes may be a bit baggy. Bambicrony has had some issues in the past, but are working to fix them. I just ordered my first bjd from them, and I will report about the quailty once it arrives.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping that once I've tended to Tsukasa's needs, I will be able to get sleeping Kumi and her things from DOA's marketplace.
I wish I had saved a picture of the wig I wanted, but just in case any of you remember, it was the one that had straight silky wine red hair with the two pig tails. It came in different colors, but the wine red one was the one I wanted. sad I think Bambicrony took it down, so I'm not sure if it will restock. But if you see any similar wigs in Kumi's size, please let me know via this thread. Thanks! wink

If you are looking for wigs that fit Bambicrony, then you can always get a DOC wig. I got a silver one for my girl and after a good haircut, she looks great!
The wig fits wonderfully, but I would suggest that you put a thick rubberband on her head first to keep the wig from slipping. Otherwise, those wigs work. ^_^

A bambicrony is a wonderful choice in a doll. and the yellowing happens to all BJDs over time, its just how the risen reacts to the UV light of the sun.
I have a elf Kumi and did her face-up myself. The wigs for her I got off of DOA and the dress I got at the Volks Dolpa in LA, its an off brand though, unsure of the maker. I love the little girl!

I have two Bambicrony elves. I find that wig sizes 5/6 or 6/7 work very well. Luts sells clothes shoes, and wigs for their Honey Delfs, which are the same size as Bambicrony. Cutie Delf clothes would probably be too big, actually, as Cutie Delfs are larger than Bambicrony, more of a Petite Ai size (which are baggy on Bambis). The wigs are size 6/7 and should fit well, though. And I also highly recommend Jpopdoll to buy wigs. They sell their own brand and Monique gold label. They are super-soft fiber wigs that are gorgeous, and they have TONS of styles. Size 6/7 is a good size for Bambis, and they sell some 5/6, as well. They also sell Dollheart and AnotherSpace items, which make YOSD sized clothes and shoes. The quality is top-notch, so expect them to be a bit expensive, but so worth the price. FYI, Dollheart sells more lolita-eque clothes, while AnotherSpace is more along the lines of the Punky/Steampunk look. Edit: I've also stuffed my Bambicrony girls into a Madam Alexander princess dress. It was a bit tight, but it did fit. You can find Madam Alexander clothes on Ebay sometime. There are a few sizes, though, and I'm not quite sure which one is which.
