Wednesday June 20, 2007
I was awakened by the full moon. I got up on my four paws.* I look around to see that I'm in the plains. Suddenly, I hear a scream from afar.** My dearest friend is in danger! I run as fast as I can.
When I arrive, I see a burning forest. Swiftly, I pick up her scent.*** I follow the trail to her. I finnaly find her when things got worse. A tree was about to fall on her. I managed to knock her out of the way. I nudged her with my muzzle to get on my back. She did so and I ran out of the forest.
I watched the forest burn down. My dearest friend then hugged me tightly and cried over my shoulder because she was frightened from the flames. I was nearly crying myself. It was hard for her to say "Thank You" over her sniffs and crying, but I knew she ment it.

***: Wolves can smell 100 times better than humans

Well I was listening to a song called "Home" by Daughtry. The song played through my dreams and it was like music video. In my dreams. This is 15 years later. I was driving home from work and then I entered my house. My dearest friend was standing up from the living room and she came up to me to give a kiss then a long hug. I didn't know she would be in the house. Anyways, we sat on the couch, my dearest friend leaning on me. Then it went back to today where I was walking home to see my dearest friend at my house. She hugged me and we both went to the backyard to look at the sky filled with billions of stars and a full moon. It was really beautiful and she rested her head on my shoulder.

and their howls...Indeed it seems. This has been on my mind lately too. I must be wise with my path wherever it may lead me too. This will be my last year in Germany. I must enjoy the rest of the year with her and my friends. So I might be less active, If I'm inactive... add another crew. I'm willing to sacrifice my time here to spend extra time with her and my other friends. I am also giving one of my most precious items, my wolf necklace, to her to remember me. I will miss seeing her, but as long as I have a way to contact her, I will be fine. She... is actually the greatest friend I ever had in my life. The moment we met... my life has changed me into a much better person. I am truly thankful for living in Germany. ...guide you and help
you to the right path
