Ilori ran across the plains at full speed, knowing that his parents wouldn't mind if he dissapeared for a little while, as he rarely did. He was excellent at remembering where he had left his family, and never got lost, so it never, as usual, occured to him that the cub should be careful in his wandering. It wasn't that he didn't care, certainly not, but in his cub-naivity, he merely found it safe to assume that if anyone tried to hurt him, his mother would beat them into a bloody pulp.
So, Ilori enjoyed his freedom, the little orange ball bounding up and down hills, sliding down on dirt as though he were sledding (though he had never seen snow, and likely never would, unless Global Warming took a very strange turn), and he laughed the whole way. He was, per usual, a cub all about fun, seeing as much as he could before his family moved on again to new sights, and new fun times. If he got bored of simply sledding, he would bellow songs at the top of his lungs. Since he didn't know very many, they were usually just amusing sounds... or whatever else he came up with. Things that rhymed for instance.

Tufah was amused, having used the advantage of being one cub amongst many in the Pridelands to aide her in slipping away unseen. Craftiness was something she valued. She'd been brought up so far to be more focused than her fellows, and already she was prowling through the long grass rather than simply enjoying this outing. Though in truth she was just a cub and so Tufah couldn't resist the mischeif that came her way,
The loud and happy orange cub had strayed to close to 'her domain' and Tufah at once began to try to hunt him, a soft laugh mixing in with her childish attempts at a growl. In this playful task, she was revealing her basic nature. She longed to be a strong, proud and calculating creature....but sometimes, girls just wanna have fun.

Ilori went nonestop until he got bored/tired and then he stopped at the top of a hill, kust outside the long grass, where he waited, as though he knew someone had been following him and didn't care. Or he hadn't noticed, and was really taking a brake
((Gotta go for an hour or so, be back later!))

She crouched down in the grass, checked on her prey, smiled aaaand...!
With the biggest roar a cub can muster - also known as a tiny snarl to grown up lions - Tufah burst out from her hiding place and attempted to pounce into the other cub.

"Huh...?" Was about all Ilori managed to say or do when he turned around and caught Tufah straight on his chest, knocking him, and the female over, so that they fell straight back, sliding down the dirt of the hill, and slamming straight into the long grass at the very bottum.
Ilori was dazed for a moment before he looked up and then smiled, taking no offence what-so-ever at being attacked, "Hi there."

Tufah untangled herself and quickly preened, taking a mere moment to rub a licked paw over her cheek. If you're ever seen a cat do this, you know it takes a second. Besides it felt like some dust from their scuffle had clogged up the fur. Best to impress.
"Hello there. I'm Tufah."

Ilori grinned and sat up, though he made no move to right himself. After all, he intended to get dirtier, not cleaner, so why waste time? He merely moved to a more comfortable position.
"I'm Ilori, friends call me Lori, nice to meet you."
