I am actively protecting her identity so she won't get bashed (and I hope none of you are prone to such things). She was dropping me a random friendly message and I don't want her to suffer for it, but I did not have the heart to hand her a dictionary.

You could gently tell her to make herself more understandable.
But if she's like me, with a possible case of carpal tunnel, then give a sympathetic pat on the back and tell her to do as best as she can. That's my advice

I think she is around fifteen years old, actually.
I did not mention her text-talking to her when I left her a polite return message. I seldom mention people's typing aberrations to them, even when I'm grinding my teeth attempting to decipher what they are saying. It would have been rude when she was just being friendly.
I have Carpal Tunnel myself (I hate it when my hands go numb), but this seems more like a teenage girl who tap-tap-taps into her phone a little too often.
Actually, I think it was your banner that led me to this Guild, now that I take a closer look at your avi. 4laugh

Not really. Since joining this Guild this morning I've already seen worse; I just did not have a lot of personal examples on hand to display (most "txt tlk" messages I get are in the form of begging PM's which I promptly delete).

Here's some really bad chat speaking I saw on another site...
