((This is a Private RP between Tirokio and Myself. Please do not post unless asked. )) ------------------------------------------------- Azariel nudged one of her children gently, shifting it back toward its sibling. She sighed and shook her head, unable to keep from smiling. Obviously, that one wasn't terribly fond of being next to it's sibling. Or at least...wasn't fond of being confined like that. Another sigh, this time as she glanced up. Caelen still wasn't home and it had been almost a week. Hopefully, he wouldn't be late again. Tossing her head, she bent to nibble at a few blades of grass near her home; she wasn't going to leave her children alone for a moment. Nope, she'd be there for them for everything. Hopefully...Caelen woud be here for it too. She glanced up at her father passed them on his way out. He smiled and nuzzled her gently for a moment before murmuring something about going to take a quick dip in the nearby lake. She nodded, knowing the exact feeling; it was far too hot for dark colored Soquili like themselves. She wondered if the children were alright in their little baskets.

Was it time?
Oh please let it have been time!
Twilight was once again pacing back and forth in the security and comfort of the forest, it seemed all he had been doing since he returned back was pace pace pace!
Yet this time he had a very good reason to be doing so.
Father had warned him not to go near his sister Azariel whilst she was pregnant, yet news had traveled that she had infact given birth. Was it still too dangerous to be near the tempermental mare thanks to that motherly instinct he'd been told about? Or did she calm now that the babies were out and safe?
What was a stallion to do?
Biting his lower lip hesitantly, he looked out to the trees before him...howing full well that the source of his constant worry was just beyond the grove. Nodding his head with a small bout of determination, Twilight knew like his father he just had to get it over with and not dwell too much on the what if's.. Que cera cera, right? Trotting out through the flora and fauna, his large body rustled the leaves as he pushed past the bushes. Pausing at the forest's edge with the meadow at his hooves, he could only look out in silence as he lay witness to his sister - no longer a tomboyish filly, yet a stunning mare; and of course two strange baskets at her side.
Were those the babies? If so....why were they in those contraptions? (As he failed to forget he too had been born and placed into one himself)

Azariel was unaware of the other presence at first, but the faint sounds of rustling, accompanied by the strange and yet faint familiar scent of another creature, made her look up and tense slightly.
Something was out there and it could be coming to hurt her babies. Now, that wasn't a completely irrational thought, someone could indeed be out there and hunting something and it could even be herself or even her children, but she needed to restrain herself and her instincts to the point that she was a rational creature. For all she knew it could be Yue, back from one of his regular trips in search of his master.
Still....better safe than sorry, right?
"Who's there?" She growled, her voice loud enough to carry into the forest, "Show yourself!" She couldn't really help it for she found herself standing a bit protectively above her little baskets, just in case her suspicions were true.

Oh crap, spotted.
Wincing at the sound of his sister's loud growl, his ears flattened to his forehead before debating for a moment. Should he go? Well, he had come this far....there really wasn't any use of turning and tailing now. Twilight figured if he left now, he'd never return, and would completely sever any chance he had with reuniting with his family once more.
Thus, taking a breath, the ebony stallion emerged from the bushes and stood before his sister against the tree line. Taking his father's well heeded advice and getting no where near the baskets, Twilight dipped his head momentarily before offering a small smile - looking meek with the array of twigs and leaves tangled in his mane and tail from the bushes.
"Hello....Sister."

Anything Azariel had been about to say evaporated from her mind. OF all the people, or all the creatures she had expected to see, Twilight had been one of the farthest from her mind.
"Tw...Twilight?" She stammered his name, shock freezing her vocal cords enough that words were difficult to come. He looked exactly the same, maybe a little older and defintely a bit more worse for wear, but that certainly hadn't been out of his character before hand.
She swallowed and tried to regain her composure, reminding herself that her young children were right here with them, "It's....it's been a while, hasn't it, Twilight?" She offered, managing a smile, "It's good to see you. How have you been since...you left?" It stung. She didn't like it, but it stung when she saw her brother come back, looking like some great dirty hero who'd probably seen the entire world while she had been stuck at home looking after a father who hadn't even wanted it. She had to keep quiet though, there was no reason to get upset now. None at all.

"Azariel...."
He breathed lightly, a smile still written on his maw. Walking closer with the sounds of his heavy footsteps echoing on the ground he paused when he was a foot from the mare; seeing that her children were close by and like father had warned him her protectiveness might still be high. Looking her over, she still looked great, although she was the only girl in the family who wasn't quite so girly - she did look the part 100%. Even though he might get beaten if he'd said so aloud.
"Its good to see you too, I've been thinking about you all....how much you've changed; yet stayed the same." Taking a purposeful look to the baskets he couldn't help but grin foolishly. "Well, for the most part anyways."
It was a hard question, to say the least when he had to think of how he'd been since leaving the comforts of family. He'd known that it was just as rough here, what with Kalm and Marina vanishing. It felt as if the family had been torn in three, with Azariel to stick with Kale, and Kalm to their mother.....and where did that leave him? All alone....just like he wanted?
Shaking his head, like his sister he knew it was innapropriate to get upset now. How alike they really were. "Well, a jumble of things. Loss, discovery, hardships and of course adventure. Its like in all the aspects i've been missing in life i've gained different areas i'd never have otherwise...you know? Yet all in all, I've missed being here....but enough about that; that can be saved for later." He grinned, peering around her shoulder to the baskets at her ankles.
"I'm sure you've realized i'm dying to know more about those." He inclined, "Father told me some things....yet I bet it would be better coming from the mare's own mouth."
