Yes we all love them! They keep our stories hoping along but....I've always wondered if there isn't some connection to what causes plot bunnies and why some are good and some stink..

So come bring the many fast multipling bunnies with you and disscuss them with me!

What's strange about my plot bunnies is they tend to show up more often when I'm on my period (sorry guys, I'm kinda open about that stuff) and my moons just seem to like me this time of the month ((for those who don't know me very well the moon's of Jupiter control my creativity...it's a constant thing with me....what ever you do DO NOY UPSET THE MOONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!))

I've also noticed that midde way between periods my writing seems to flow as well. But times inbetween that (exspecially when I'm pmsing) I have a dry well..

Do any other girls notice that to?

But as for plot bunnies.... it's almost midnight for me, and inspiration hit for this awesome horror story....I'm horrible with scary things...I can write them just fine, in the day light with my mom in the room, but at night by myself *hides under couch* But I wrote the first whole page with out being scared and began to plot the beginning and scary stuff.... I wasn't even freaked out until I stopped, then I had to close it because I sudden realized everything. It was super werid.

Anyone else have any werid plot bunnies?

haha. yeah. My plot bunnies seem to know more than I do about the stories.

For example, you know how sometimes you feel the need to throw something completely unrelated to the plot in there, just because it's cute/funny/whatever? nine times out of ten I actually write that out and then find, later, that because I did that, I can now spin the story in a completely new way and avoid writing myself into a corner. It's great.

with this current collaboration with Io, I had a hanging plot bunny from the first one. It wasn't major, so we could get away with leaving it unresolved, but then randomly my brain decided that there was something I could be using from earlier in the story to resolve it and another problem at the same time. It was fabulous because I got to torture characters at the same time, too!

Hmm...plot bunnies and womanly issues...That makes a lot of sense actually if you come at it in a scientific point of view.

The hormones that are racing through our bodies cause us to be more emotional right? Well, probably we're so hyped up on emotions, we want to expend them somewhere. Sometimes they might come out as bunnies. I'll have to pay attention next time mine rolls around sweatdrop

ps. It's a very secure male who posts in this thread heart Go for it guys!

lol, it was funny I write as I try to fall asleep...you know like in my head (it's no wonder I'm always tired) well last night I worked my character into the best situation ever.

She's at the top of the evil guys tower, in his capital city.... She's just stolen some awsome magical artifacts back but the place they were contanted in was cursed so now she's weak and can't do much *plus she did a hug battle with the evil guy before hand*

So now she's in this tower with only two ways out, window and stairs.

The stairs are blocked by the evil guy and his number henchmen....and she's at the top of the tower...

I thought about usein the dragon but that doesn't come up until later in the story and so then I thought she could use one of the awesome artfacts she just stole back to float down but I realized that would take to much energy on her part.

But then poof the little bunny comes in a shines a light in my faces and I get it... She uses magic to make a really shiny and bright light and then walks right past the evil guys.... and sudden that worked perfectly and the whole sence began to clear up and fit in place and was like YAY!!!!

Like my story?

Sorry I'm like super crazy/hyper/wacko today..... plus I'm listening to dido...dido is depressing...depressing stuff cheers me up *oddly enough*

Also the great thing about plot bunnies is once you get one they reprodouce like bunnies do....at least for me...so now I have five new stories on the to do list...and five new ideas for my ultimate story. *that still needs main characters that's how big it is*

I guess the moons like me to day my anolgges and metahores are working hehe....at least I think...

What was our fabulous hanging plot bunny, Is?
I remember threating to design and print plot bunny shirts at one point. (I still want one of those.)

Let me tell you about BILLY. Billy was our fantabulous fantastic extraordinary epic plot bunny that me and my other favorite co-conspirator Katie had. He was the potential for a baby to happen between our leading man and lady.

Billy was this wonderfully over-arching plotbunny that haunted us off and on for the entirety of a long time. He would wane in and out, with me fighting for Billy's little bunny life (my basic argument: come ON it would be FUNNY!) and Katie generally doing her best to not kill me for bringing him up.

My favorite sport for a while was randomly changing my avatar on MSN to be Billy while we were writing, just to see how long it would take her to notice. ninja heart The reaction was inevitably "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

In the spirit of the plot bunny, I'll take a screencap and simulate a Billy moment for you, as Isolde and I are currently writing on MSN and Billy will NEVER leave my massive store of MSN avatars.

I'm amazing.

oh baby bunnies are so much fun... I have three in the void...and they with the plot bunny that wants to kill their mother....I've looked through my options...but when the father is being controlled by evil it's hard not kill people off *evil giggle*

If I ever finish that story I will be amazed...

*is waiting for pic*

PSH. just like I'm thinking a child between Ancash and Adorna would be EXTREMELY amusing.

our hanging plot line was the fae succession. Remember, Anezka...dark and light fae fighting? And then I was like, well Kalasin likes plants, they like her, they're going to try and make her feel better. And then suddenly I was like HEY!! OMG *falls out of...bed* I just figured out how I can resolve that issue and have fun torturing Mordrid and Rumors. ^.^

and yes....I DESPERATELY want one of those t-shirts, darling. like you have no idea!

Billy has been posted.

The difference between Billy and forcing an accident baby on the hero and heroine of our current story (the aforementioned Ancash and Adorna) is that the would-be mother died, and the would-be father became a paladin who lives pretty much comatose while his soul got split in three or four directions, and those three or four shades of himself went about the world kicking a**. They were not mommy and daddy types.

Ancash, the eye-patched unfeeling b*****d that he is, would make a weirdly good daddy. And he would probably insist on taking the baby and raising it in Saer. Afterall, he did kind of raise his sister. *pets her baby Ancash and covers his ears so he won't hear any more talk about babies*

My ultimate plotbunny (whore) is probably Diluvian. He is a character who weases his way into EVERYTHING. And it works. Every single time, you see it coming, and you kind of giggle. Although recently I managed to divert and quash the urge to insert him in another storyline IN A WORLD IN WHICH HE DOES NOT BELONG. Oddly, I was mostly convinced it was a good idea to stick him there, too. It was possible.

Just watch, Isolde. He'll show up anyways. We'll be writing some...!

ubg9eruegb. talking about Diluvian is a bad idea. He just found a way in.

neeeeee. sorry misty... you really are missing a few things. It's just that Io and I have known eachother since she saved my a** in sixth grade orchestra. We have quite a few inside jokes stemming from the fact that we're both complete SPAZes. ^.^

but no worries, we'll all get to know eachother and create NEW inside jokes and they'll be FABULOUS

Billy is super cute. I agree with you. He is the nerdiest, most pompous looking bunny I've ever seen.

That's what makes him dangerous. You want to pet him, and then you remember, OH CRAP. You're poison, aren't you?

sorry if you're missing stuff. sad I'm trying to explain without over-explaining what it is that I'm talking about.

If you're curious, just question. I have no secrets. That you know of. ninja

no.

no.

I like my world without Diluvian in it!

and, oh my god, Adorna would flip out on him if he tried to take her child from her. for all that she's wild and a little immature, she would make a really great mommy. and she'd kind of be like "ummmm no. I had to carry her for nine months, forget the fact that I endured HOW many hours of labor to bring her into the world! you can not take her from me. I want her with me. mine. BAH"

that kid would be seriously messed up...

.....either that or reallllly well adjusted.

This particular juxtaposition of sentiments made my brain go ehh?

brain: I didn't say Diluvian would take baby.
Dilu: although that could be arranged. *skips*
brain: quiet, whore.
Dilu: yeah yeah, blah blah.
brain: oh, I understand now. That last line has nothing to do with you, does it?
Dilu: No. But it should. *grins*
brain: lies.
Dilu: You know, you should really stop reading Tsubasa. It gives you bad ideas.
brain:...leave the comic books out of it, jerk.

Adorna-mommy would be kind of scary. She'd leave it somewhere.
