Simon walked the large mall with Epicurus in his arms. Epicurus stared in awe at the people and places passing by, though paid close notice that none were like him, and assumed that was why he was wearing the silly coat that he wore - to hide his wings.
An object in a store window caught Simon's attention, and he veered from the crowd to examine the deluxe reclining chair in the Shaper Image's front window. With the new, larger house.... he could dream.

A woman-or was it a man?- walked up and also stared at the window. Such a nice chair... He wished he could afford such luxuries but alas... The boy had a heart shaped face and large honey eyes. His long green hair swayed as he glanced down at the girl in his arms. "W-W-well Do-Dolly... Wh-what do-do you th-think?"
Dolly turned to look up at her father and smiled. Her huge ears wiggled in delight and her fur stood up in pleasure. "Perreettt...." She half said, half slurred. She blinked and craned her head backward to glance at the new baby.
"Wha-what is it?" He asked glancing up in the same direction. "O-Oh a-an-another ba-baby..." His giggled nervously and held the infant tighter in his arms. "You-you haven't me-met one, ha-have you?"

Simon glanced over at the pair who had joined him at the window. A nervous sort, he judged immediately, then pulled that back from his mind. He didn't even know the guy and he was already thinking negatively of him. That was quickly forgotten as he noticed the child in his arms.
Epicurus grinned at the girl looking back at him, and waved, trying to be friendly, thoughts racing through his head. Someone else like him, but not hidden away as his wings were.
Simon raised a brow at the person beside me, and supposed it was a man simply by his voice. "Hello," he said, simply enough, wondering if he could tell that Epicurus was like his own child, despite the masked wings.

Ailein flushed and smiled. "H-H-Hello..." He greeted.
Dolly's giggled, lifting up one of her fuzzy hands toward Eicurus. "Pway?" She asked tilt a tilt of her head. She had a bell collar like the one's used for cat's around her neck. She made a motion with her head to make it jiggle to show it off.
"Ah r-ri-right... th-this is D-D-Dolly..." He frowned as the girl tried to wiggle out of his arms.
"Mama! Pway!"
"P-Plea-please... its 'dada'." He pleaded trying to keep her still.

Simon smiled at Dolly, who wriggled in her father's arms, "This is Epicurus," he replied, watching the boy carefully to be sture that he would not lose his coat.
Epicurus nodded vigorously, trying to free himself as well, "Play~!" He tugged at Simon's collar, "Play!"

"M-m-maybe w-w-we sh-should p-put th-them do-down?" Ailein asked watching as his little girl began to tear up when she couldn't get to the other boy.
Dolly rubbed at her eyes and looked up at her father. "Mama...wanna pway!" She cooed trying to give him the best puppy dog eyes she could.
"Its 'dada'!" He corrected with a groan. He set the girl down and watched her as she grabbed his pant leg for balance.

Simon laughed and complied, setting the whining and pouting Epicurus down as well. "No use in having them fall..."
Epicurus grinned and steadied himself, watching Dolly use her father's pant leg as a pillar. "Hi!"

Dolly wriggled her ears joyfully as she walked over to the new boy. She leaned forward giving him a few sniffs before smiling. "HI!" She mimicked a bit louder then Epicurus. She was by no means as shy as her father. She gave the other boy a big hug and giggled.
Ailein smiled slightly. "Sh-She's the G-G-G-Goddess of C-C-Cute." He told Simon looking over at him. He blushed slightly and scooted a bit farther away. "I-I-I-I'm A-A-A-Ailein..."

Epicurus waggled his wing a her touch, but hugged her back, "Cute?" he asked, mimicking her father's voice at the word.
Simon looked down at them a moment before replying, "He's the God of Philosophy and Mortality... And I'm Simon." He offered his hand for a handshake.

She gave a delighted squeal when she was called cute then let him go. She walked back to her father and reached into a bag at his side, tugging out a box of blocks then waddled back out to Epicurus. "Pway." She said simply sitting down and dumping them on the ground.
Ailein looked to his hand and took it, shaking it lightly. "A p-p-p-pleasure to m-m-meet y-y-you.....sh-s-should th-th-they rea-really be p-p-playing there?" He questioned looking around at the people whom were staring at Dolly. He edged closer to Simon subconsciously. He didn't like that he couldn't hide her as well as the other kids could be hidden.

Epicurus plopped down next to her, grinning and looking at the blocks carefully before picking one up, "Play~!"
Simon grinned and pushed some hair from his eyes, "I'm not sure it matters... People will stare all they like, for one reason or another." He watched Simon carefully, slightly ashamed that his wings were beneath the long bulky coat.

Ailein looked around at all the people. "W-w-well th-then le-let them s-s-stare." He reached down and took Dolly's hat off. He ruffled her hair lovingly and straightened himself up.
She blinked and leaned backward then smiled. The girl really hated that hat. She lifted up her ears much like a deer's and looked at Epi. "Go here..." She picked up a block and sat it on top of his, indicating they should make a tower.

Simon smiled, and bent down to pull off Epicurus' coat, his white and green wings slightly ruffled from being covered. "So stare they will."
Epi smiled and ruffled his wings a bit to smooth them out before taking the block from his head and stacking it on top of one near Dolly, "Here?"

Ailein blinked then smiled wider. "W-W-Wings h-h-huh? T-Th-they're re-really cu-cute." He complimented with a smile.
Dolly nodded in approval then blinked. "Feavers!" She shouted, shuffling around the blocks so they didn't fall and touching them. "Soft!" She made a purring sound and started to pet the wings. "Peeereetty Feavers!"
"Oh, now sh-she'll ne-never le-lea-leave him al-alone!"

Epicurus tried to look over his shoulder to see why she was so amused, apparently having either forgotten that he had wings, or not really understanding why they were so special. "???????"
Simon chuckled, "Yup, wings... A real hassle sometimes. Can't imagine what will happen if he molts..." He chuckled as he watched the pair. She really was the goddess of cuteness... "Ah well, they've made fast friends then, even if by feathers."
