Here is where you will find artwork by Justice Alucean. Feel free to comment on any pieces you like, and requests are open for any drawings but keep in mind until late August photographs will have to make due as images can not be scanned until then.

The one of Tinuviel has a face that doesn't quite match the body in terms of apparent age and maturity. Also, the elves are looking a little too full bodied to be elven. They are known for their remarkably thin frames (often represented by a lessened degree of constitution, vulnerability to sickness, and in some legends, their ability to fly). Accuracy aside, both are well drawn. On an additional note I see you've taken the approach to elves that Lodoss and Warcraft did (though to a less absurd degree). In those worlds, I often find myself asking, "Do elven doors have extra width at the anticipated head-height to allow passage for their big ridiculous ears that inexplicably stick out like sails, or do they just tough it out? Elves that walk through lots of doors must chafe terribly. Also, with as much combat as everyone seems to be embroiled in, how have they not lost an ear yet? I've seen people with missing arms and legs, yet somehow these frail and proposterous extremities remain intact. How? HOW?!" But as I said, you did a better job than they. This was more the venting of a pet peeve rather than an actual comment on your drawing. I'm generally dissinterested in elves, so I think I've only ever drawn one, but his ears were simply pointed back along his head, in the manner of an ordinary human. They were simply slightly longer and pointed, not angled to stick directly outward. In any case, excuse my tangent.

A few other general comments. Is Teddy Bear Stitches in any way related to that story of yours I read? You should know the one I mean. Also the one of "Seth" seems to have a head that is not quite in proportion to the rest of...It's body.

My elves where simply elves that looked pretty, not realistic working organisms...ears like that would be a hazard. I don't like elves personally either but they just appeared on the page that day when I started drawing. The teddy bear stitches is actually linked to that short story "Daddy".
