Ness was out soaking her feet in the grape soda river. It had been awful hot this summer. The cool water felt great and refreshing. She leaned back on her paws thinking that it was a shame she didn't find someone to accompany her.

Azami having been visiting and spending time with her mate, her love of her life. found time to spend to herself as she waited the long days for her mates return once more. she found herself hoping from one shaded tree spot to the next, giggling and humming. she was near-by the river since that was were hennessy had been teaching her to swim. she hadnt got the hang of it just yet

Ness heard the rustling of grass and movement somewhere near by. She turned her head and tried to keen her ears to where it was coming from. It was almost to no avail. She couldn't make it out. She stood up, feet still in the river banks. "Hello... if someone is there... please don't be a stalker..."

Azami having heard someone nearby, she tripped and fell to ground. but hearing the last part, she jumpped up quickly in a panick. her paws to her cheeks "A Stalker?! theres a stalker here?!" she asked in a panick then turned giving a confused look "wait....what's a stalker?"

Then Ness saw her. She stood staring for a few moments not saying anything, feeling a strange wind blow through her hair and tail. It was like looking at a photograph from a long time ago. She thought, but could that be?
"Oh sorry... I thought you might have been a weirdo. Some numas aren't to be trusted. They are a little shady... you ought to be careful..." She just saved to the purple numa. She couldn't get the sight of her out of her mind though.

Azami turned around to see another numa, but this time a female numa. she had only meet one other female, although she didnt like how their conversation had gone. but, she tried not to be negative about others. she saw everyone equal and same.
As she stared at the other numa she batful(sp?), tilting her head slightly side to side. something about this numa seemed similar, but she couldnt remember nor know why. so, she smiled and walked over to the female
"ohh, i see. well im not sure what is consided a werido but, i hope im not one of them" she giggled "ohh?" she paused tilting her head as to her other comment "there are? hmm..."

Ness stood up and walked over to her. "Yes. There are. I should know. I've had a fight recently. I've taken up some training for battle skills should it happen again. "
She sat down, the roses about her. She had a small flashback of a little numa in a pretty red dress with purple fur who was always into the flowers in their neighborhood. Ness told her about a secret garden and took the purple numa girl there. It was after that all the parents in the neighborhood said what a bad girl Ness was. That she was teaching other little girls bad habits and how to be a miscreant.
After her memory had passed, she stared at the other girl. A feeling returned to her. The feeling she had the day she met bruce before she had made all her current friends. That feeling of being abandoned and unliked by others. she opened her mouth to speak, about to ask her name; but she then closed it. She was afraid to be foolish and embarrass herself.

Azami tilted her head to the side slightly blinking. straighting her head back up she gave a look of confusion. "ohh?" she asked wondering who it was she had a fight with. a thought came into mind but wasnt sure if it was that numa that came into mind.
She smiled sweetly wagging her tail "that is good to know that you can handle yourself. but..." she gave a small frown and looked to the ground. she felt great conside for this female which she didnt understand.
looking back up towards her, she gave a smile and lend out a paw "im sorry my name is Azami. and yours?"

Ness felt like she had just walked into a twilight zone. It was like a wash of nostalgia washed over her. For a moment, all her tomboyishness, her show-off proud fronts she put up all just faded away. She felt like she was a little girl again. Her eyes grew large and round. "Azami.... I'm... Ness...."
Ness got up and walked towards her. She felt like the world was spinning. Was this real? "I... think I knew you a very long time ago. When I was... very young."

Azami smiled happily "Please to meet you Ness" Ness... ness... the name swam her mind. It had a fimilar ring to it. But, she couldnt quite place it. Azami lowered her ears seeing the other come forward. she then clinched her paws to her stomach just below her chest
"Y-you do?...." she asked abit nervous almost scared like she didnt know why "I-i... i cant remember..." she trailed off not knowing what to say or do

Ness grew quiet and let out a sigh. She didn't remember her. "Our families were from the same area. I was very tomboyish and didn't behave like a lady. I used to play with you before your parents had you take lessons to make music and play with flowers and stuff like that... I know they didn't like me very much at all.."

"hmm..." Azami gave a rather discomfort look. She still couldnt remember anything about her past. But, the female numa's words sounded fimilar. Although she did love flowers and plants. She never had the likens of music, none the less making it. "... but, why did they do that?" she looked at the Ness

"I dunno... I am kind of a bum of a numa I suppose.. I sit around my playhouse half the day. I play video games and jam to my music. I do acrobatics.. climb trees... sit on rooftops... Maybe they thought I'd teach you bad habits. That seems like a typical parent thing to do..."
Ness looked at her butterfly tattoo. "Well, It's plain to see you grew up great... You've become such a pretty numa and full of grace. You find yourself a mate yet? or.. already had some pups?"

Azami sort of stood there a bit wide eye'd and gave a sort of odd smile. She listened to her describe herself which in some ways sound like her owner, the one that foundher. Although not the rooftop part or climb trees part or even the acrobatic part "o-ohh.. you dont say" she says turning abit looking towards the sky scratching her cheek
She softly coughed into her paw, a slight pinkish color in her cheeks "well... i dont see anything wrong with all those" she says smiling "I think it sounds fun" she starts to gaze like with a dreamy look in her eyes
She snapped out of it when she heard her questions. Perking her ears up she smiles "well... yes i have" she smiles brightly and giggles, coveringher mouth "and no we havent. Have you? i mean any ofthe two?" she asked "thank you and so have you"

Ness watched her reactions. "Well, there it is.. I'm glad your spirit is still sweet as it was when you were young. As for mates... not so much yet... I had a while there where there were several possible prospects.. However, I do have someone I like a lot... Not really sure about pups yet. I have to admit I have committment issues..."
Her tail fluffed up and flowed to the ground at her feet behind her back. She took a much more relaxed stance. Her eyes still studied the girl. It had been such a long time ago.
