Just curious.
I first heard them when I went to see Dir en Grey in New York City. They were the second opening act. The first act was rather bad in my opinion, so I wasn't too thrilled that I had to sit through a second one. But once Fair to Midland started playing, I was blown away. My friend and I kept staring at each other, then back at the stage in shock. XD
I wanted to see them at Bamboozle, but between the ticket cost, the cost to get there, and the fact I had a English final the next day, there was no way I could have gone. ;.;

I first heard Dance of the Manatee on the radio. It never let me go. That's how I first heard of them.

Well... System of a Down is my favorite band, and I knew of Serj's label. So when looking at the bands on his label, I saw Fair to Midland. After listening to them, they became my favorite band.

♠ Just keep in mind that I'm not the thread creator, but read the guild description. I found out about them the exact same way. ♠

I'm pretty sure Serjical Strike records sent a bulletin saying to 'add this band' so I went and listened to the music trusting Serjical Strike's taste, and I loved them!
