 It had been a while since the turquoise mare had been out and about. The season had turned rather quickly. She remembered that it was winter, and now it was summer. She missed spring. She started to walk into a forest she hadn't been in, in ages.
She moved her wings out a little, stretching them a bit. She had been away for too long. The sun was out over head, showing that it was about midday. Jeevita's curly hair flapped around gently in the air as she walked. Her horn shined as the sun hit the silver thing. Her mane and tail sparkled in spots where the silver was in it as well.
Her necklace clinked as she walked. She was very use to this. She looked up for a second as she walked around trees in the forest. The leaves made rustling noises each time the wind made it's own way through the forest. She took a deep breath and stopped. She had all ways liked the warm weather of the summer. She flicked her tail and giggled as a butterfly flew past her face.

 A few paces ahead was a pool of water that flowed from a few small streams which fed it. Moss surrounded the leaf-litter and a large willow stood over the crystaline waters. Frogs chirped and turtles peered up from the deapths as fish circled and spun. The light was dappled at best and a cool breeze managed to waft through the trees.
A rather squat mare lay on her side, her eyes closed lightly, and a soft smile curving her lips. The skunk coloured female was merely enjoying a bit of solitude and listening to the symphony of the dragonflies as well as the wood, leopard, and bull frogs.
The wood frog with it's reedy call, the leopard's more of a croak and the massive bullfrogs with it's deep, low, bellow. The dragonflies droned out a melodic hum. Their song, or so they seemed to be singing, was of the new season and the joy that it brought to them. A rabbit greedily ate a spring of clover as it reveled in the surrounding sounds.

Jeevita continued her path towards a rather mossy area. There was a small pool of water that had caught Jeevita's eye. There was always interesting creatures about them. Carefully she edged her way closer. She shook her head to get her curls all to one side of her head.
Soon as she entered where the pool of water was, she noticed there was another creature about. At first, she thought it was a skunk, or at least the coloring was right. But as she looked closer she realized it was, in fact, another horse. Strange, this one was about the size of some flutters she had ran into, yet it had now wings at all. She stopped to take a better look at the other.
Her curly mane made it hard to see everything about the new horse she had stumbled upon. Especially since the wind was making her curls cover her eyes.
"Ouch!" She yelped as a stick fell from a tree and hit her on the head. It wasn't that it hurt, no, it was the surprise of the branch landing on her head when her attention was on the other horse that seemed to be asleep. She winced as she realized she yelped pretty loud.

Flower's eyes widened, nearly popping out her skull as her legs flailed, in the vain attempt to get to her feet. "Who? Wha?" She gasped looking around frantically. At last she laid eyes on the mare and craned her neck to look up at her. "B-Blimey! Y-You gave m-me a righ' star' y-y-you did!" She exclaimed, having another go at getting to her feet.
When she was very cross or startled her easy, soft, flowy accent became thicker and laced with a cockney air. Her tone was rich and deep, more so than one would usually associate such a small animal with. She was a baritone. " 'Scuse m-me for b-bein' so rude ta ya." She added. "I-I'm Flow'a." The striped female said before turning to the pond and taking a few deep drinks of water to help wake herself up.

Jeevita shook her head, and then jumped back as the little horse spoke rather suddenly. She giggled to herself as she had been so stupid to actually jump. "Oh! I am truly sorry for waking you!" She said as sweetly as she could Her wings out a little bit from when she jumped back.
As things got a little settled down and the other said her name, Jeevita noticed her accent. It wasn't the first she had ran into, except for the type it was. She smiled and bowed. "I'm Jeevita." She said politely. "How do you do, Flowa?" She asked with a sweet smile.

The mare smiled as she looked to the very polite mare. "P-Pleas'a ta m-m-meet ya." She said before chuckling. "A-An I dun t-think you-ve g-g-got me name j-jus' yet, no' tha' I c-c-care or anythin' but it's F-l-o-w-e-r...like tha' plant." She explained good naturedly.
"A-Ah'm fine thanks." She added, calming down quite a lot. Her tone started to slip back into the smooth ease of it's usual sound. "M-My your n-n-necklace is stunning." She said. "D-D-Did a two-legger g-g-g-give it to you?" Flower asked.

Jeevita felt very stupid as she didn't get her name right. She blushed slightly making her cheeks turn a purple color. "Oh... I'm.. I'm sorry." She said a bit nervous. She hated it when she got others names wrong.
She looked to the ground and then back at her. "Oh, no... It came from my mother before she left. She gave it to me, and had her two legger put it on me." She said and smiled.

Flower smiled softly. "D-Don't fret over it..m-my brogue was p-pretty thick now t-that I think on't." She said to try and placate the mare. "W-Well it's quite b-b-beautiful. It s-suits you." She added before looking slightly pensive.
"S-So d'you have a two-legger t-then?" She asked curiously as she thought back to hers.

She still blushed from getting her name wrong. It was quite embarrassing. She flicked her tail and smiled. "Oh thank you!" She said cheerfully and looked down at it again. The shells and the beads were the same color as she was. Which could make a problem with seeing them sometimes.
"Oh? Yes I do. She's quite young though." She said thinking of Alsoomse. She was such a sweet little two-legger. "Do you?" She asked keeping the conversation going.

Flower nodded. "Y-Yeah, s-she's of a decent age...r-really tiny for a two-legger...only a-a bit taller than me." She explained. "S-So we get on quite well." The mare seemed to be relaxing a bit. Jeevita seemed pleasant enough. The question was, would her body listen to her heart? Time would tell whether she would visibly start to calm or not.
She hated jumping topics but felt it needed to be done once. "S-So are you the o-only Soquili your two-legger care for?" She asked curiously.

Jeevita smiled. "That's good to know!" She liked to hear that two-leggers and soquili's were getting along. It wasn't good when they didn't. her curly tail flicked slightly. More bits of silver shined. She tried to make sure she didn't shine any in the other's face.
"Oh, No. I'm not." She said. "There are three others I believe. I've only met one of them though." She thought about it for a second. She hadn't met the newer ones that had came. Only seen them from a far.

Flower nodded. "T-That must be nice to have o-other Soquili about." She said. "I've always e-enjoyed the company of others." She added. 'Well after I get to know them.' She added mentally. "So what brings you into the forest?" Today seemed like it would be rather pleasant.
A fly landed on her withers and her muscles twitched in an automatic response to shoo the fly away. She hardly noticed anymore. A soft smile curved at her mouth.

"Sometimes it can be most enjoyable, yes. Though, other times it can prove most annoying." She said with a sweet smile. "Oh? Well, just a walk like I normally do. Though, don't always go this way, I would have to say" She said looking about. She must have took a wrong turn somewhere.

The mare smiled softly. "Can you f-find your way o-out all right?" She asked, fully intending on helping the larger female out if need be. She knew these woods like the back of her hoof. She used to get lost a lot when she had first come to this part of the land but being small had it's advantages. Most overlooked the squirrel and various game trails and she used them to her advantage.

"I'm sure I could find my way out." She said smiling. It wasn't as if it would be too hard. She'd just have to walk the way she came. Though, it wasn't as if she was lost either. She was just exploring a new area.
