My dad just bought me a 1971 volvo 144. it needs a new inteior and paint job but my dads willing to pay for those so i was just wondering any ideas on colors? and any ideas on what else i could do to it?

Hmm, tough, for sure. But what I found works for all cars is a base of black with a red pinstripe along the side. The interior can be done in leather with the same look, a black base with red tube for detail.

that would work, but i have a thing of midnight blue paint at my dads right now that i was thinking of using..... and then do a black on the inside with a blue and black custom sound set up

That sounds like it would also work out quite nicely. Especially since a lot of sound systems emphasize blacks and blues in their color schemes and displays.

yeah my friends got two alpines hes willing to sell to me that our blue and im building the box for them tonight,
