I got it today. All I have to say is eek
Although I fully expected instead of not being a heaven or hell, humans that used the notebook would turn into shinigami. That would've been cooler.

I just picked Vol 12 up today. Most stores don't have it yet so I think the one that did might have just put it out early.

Just finished it...the ending is not what I expected but I love what Matsuda did (muwhahahaha suck it Light!!!!!) mrgreen

I hated Light, and I do think he got what he deserved, but I feel sorry for him. And I hated how he lost his cool at the last part.
But all the logic and all that in there blew me away.

Yeah, I just read 12. It was pretty good. I loved how Light acted at the end. Muhahaha! *spoiler* That's what you get for killing my L-kun and Matt-kun!! *spoiler*

When I got it, I did not want to read it cuz I knew Light would die but, I know u guys are like, "He diserved to die for killing blah and blah" But once L, well u know...the only person that I thought was cool was Light, I just thought that Near and Mello were little braty kids...so ya I wish Light, did not, well u know...and even if to, I wish it was not so patheticaly, like begging and stuff

*SPOLIERS for those who haven't read it yet*
I just finished reading it yesterday, man it was soo freakn' intense! I hate the begging!! Seriously, Mello and Matt's death was pathetic! crying Why did they have to die so quickly?? And to be killed by Takada! gonk crying
And Matsuda shot him, I was like "GO MATSUDA GO!!"
At the end, Raito just totaly lost it! So amusing!
I <3 Ryuk even more!
Overall, death note was probably one of the most intense manga I've ever read, I'm going to miss it now that it's over! ;_;
I just wish Raito could've killed Near.

i wanted to see how the series ended, but at the same time i didnt want it to end... they should make a sequel. called Life Note, where people come back to life.
