Like all Farghul's, Braith is covered in smooth tawny fur. The markings upon her body were a mix of her mothers and fathers with slightly darker tawny spots littering her back, arms, legs, and tail. Her hair was a poker straight dirty blonde that was cut short to keep it out of her eyes. Her eyes, looking much like a typical felines were of a vivid green and certainly one of her most prominent features. Her body is very lithe and light which helps her agility and quick movements while the long tail of hers helps her keep her balance.
.:Backstory/history:.
Braith was born on the planet of Farrfin, her species home planet. Her parents Jua and Reminth took the occupation of paid thieves. Their lives revolved around the prospect of money and how much could be made for each job the took on. Jua and Reminth would milk as much money from their customers as they possibly could. Then on their endeavor to secure whatever item their customer may want they would either cheat out the customer by taking what was to be stolen or steal more and pocket the extra stuff.

Jua and Reminth had several times gotten their daughter Braith in on the thefts once she was old enough to understand what she was to do. It was one of these nights that Braith was to be involved in taking a rather precious ore from a company which mined the stuff that the young Farghul's took a turn for the worst. Her parents had once again cheated out the customer and took a fair deal of the ore themselves and only gave a small fraction to their customer. That night thought the customer wasn't about to let the two Farghul get away with their treachery any longer. When Reminth and his wife Jua returned to the meeting point to deliver the ore to their customer they found themselves at blaster point. Jua urged her daughter Braith to run.

Used to taking orders and following them instinctively, Braith ran at full speed from the meeting point while red beams of light showered the air around her. Finally able to get around a corner she dodged the fire and climbed up the rocky outer face of the building to reach the rooftop. There she hurried across the roofs of the cramped buildings before jumping into an alleyway. There she took shelter behind several crates and wept. She had little doubt in her mind that neither of her parents had made it out of the ordeal and now she herself would be hunted down unless she got off the planet. So, that night she slipped onto a trader ship as the cargo was being loaded up. Being careful not to be seen she ducked behind some of the merchandise and waited. It didn't take long after that from the pilot and his crew to board the ship and take off and enter hyperspace. It was at that time that Braith found herself dozing. The hum of the ship was enough to send the Farghul into slumber as she headed off to a destination unknown.

The sound of talking and the clattering of things being moved was what jarred Braith from her sleep. Sleep filled eyes snapped open and she promptly crouched some more behind the metal box she had positioned herself behind. Watching carefully she slowly worked around the maze of cargo on her hands and knees. Her tiny stature helped her to remain hidden as she neared the exit. As one of the crew members lifted a box Braith took that moment to slip out of the cargo hold and under the ships cargo ramp. She waited until the humanoid dropped off his load and entered the ship before dodging out from her hiding spot and out of the hanger.

What greeted Braith upon exiting the hanger was a world she had never expected to see. Building rose from the ground to heights untold as speeders and ships zipped by in the sky. The hustle and bustle of the place was enough to cause Braith to consider hoping back onto the ship, but the fear that the ship may return to Farrfin was more than enough to make the young Farghul to begin exploring her new world.

It had taken several months but Braith had managed to make herself at home in Coruscant. Her thieving skills also helped her make a small odd family with a canteen owner in the lower levels of the city. The canteen owner was an older Equine by the name of Eriop and took Braith in since her skills would be useful for other interests but as he cared for the young Farghul he began to find himself becoming more fatherly towards her until he felt as if he could not care for the girl anymore than he did. Eriop treated Braith like his own daughter and Braith took great care in trying to please Eriop as much as possible. It was a wonderful relationship the two had and both thrived. Eriop noticed though as time went on that with each job he gave his 'daughter' she became less and less interested in using her skills until finally he asked her about it. "What wrong me dear? You look not pleased with me job I gave you."

With a whimper and a wipe of water eyes, Braith shook her head. "I don't want to steal anymore. I don't like it. It reminds me too much about my parents." Braith didn't talk much about her parents and Eriop knew little about the two except they were thieves and had been killed by one of their employers.

Wrapping an arm around his little girl he smiled down at her. "You do not have to continue if you don't want." After those words were spoken, Eriop looked down at Braith and saw the look upon her face. Surprise was written all over her features except in her eyes. Her eyes reflected not only his face but the love and hope she had for him and herself. It was at that time that Eriop had decided that he would do all he could to make sure his girl would have a good life.

It didn't take long after that for Eriop to find his solution and Braith's future. A young human had stepped forward to sponsor Braith in becoming a Jedi hopeful. This was the perfect opportunity for Braith and he wasn't about to let her waste it.

They were covered with tawny fur and possessed prehensile tails. They had a reputation for being both fearsome fighters as well as cunning thieves. They became quite fearful of the Jedi Knights after the destruction of a smuggling base on their homeworld during the times of the Galactic Republic. They were also distrustful of politicians and were considered slightly xenophobic. Despite this they were known to friends as mischievous as well as playful beings who loved telling bad jokes. They also were known to rig games which was where their reputation for being cheaters, con artists and thieves originated from. Though upon being caught, those Fargul would often return their illicit winnings but this did not stop them from gaining a bad reputation in the galaxy.

Farrfin was the capital of Farrfin Sector and the Farghul homeworld. It joined the Galactic Republic 3,000 BBY. It was a haven for criminals. A shakedown by the Jedi left the Farghul distrustful of Jedi.

Farrfin was also a haven for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War, and eventually broke from the Empire with New Republic support. The New Republic engaged Grand Admiral Thrawn in battle at Farrfin in 9 ABY. Its population in that era was approximately six billion.
