At one time I used to have a lovely death wish. See, first I had a near death experience. And I shold have died. But apparently my own progress spiritually shot me in the foot. They stuck me down here for a little longer. Now, for a while that caused me to think about commiting suicide. No joke, I contemplated it once before. But I didn't want to show disrespect to my creator. And i've called this many times before my lovely death wish. I miss the other side, but I cannot go there completely yet, as I've been given more business down here. see, unlike others i've been told the purpose of my life in general. And I have to say, were it not for handing my soul over willingly to my creator. I'd probably be in a lot worse mood. Anyone who has followed my several profiles knows I went from being a real nice guy, to a spam whore, to a simple rabble rouser. To how I am now. But this got me to thinking,

Have other people ever experienced this yearn for the other side?
If you have do you think this has ever altered your normal behavior?
How self destructive behavior cna be summed up to a "GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" plea.

Seriously, think about it.

Blind gaurdian I am holding a serious topic here. I banned you once before and I can do it again if you keep it up. Either talk aobut the topic or don't come in here.

A yearn for the other side?

Admittedly, yes, I have. For a few years. In time I realized it was just a case of "Oh, but, the pastures are greener over there". Part of me thinks that the other side could be similar to this side in many ways.

Has it affected my behavior?

Yes. It did. And perhaps it still does. I distanced myself from earthly affairs at my own expense, thinking "any minute now....".

Perhaps some self-destructive behavior can be summed up in a "Beam me up, Scotty". Not all self-destructive behavior could.

finally, a real honest reply. Thank you for that.

You could at least leave the post and ask him to stop in a reply, instead of deleting the post and threatening to ban him.

Nah, then it would only encourage others to act the same, trust me, i've seen far too many people act that way because of my views, but I look at it like this, when I want a conversation I want a conversation, if I see a post that will start that same old bullshit again, yeah, i'm deleting it before everyone else follows.

What was his post anyway? I think it's only fair that he gets to have a voice, just as you get one.

He asked me if i've ever considered seeing a psychiatrist, then he said he was serious about it. I'd use harsher language but i'm being nice. He's pulled this siht before, and I never really have liked him to be truthful. And I ******** hate the psychiatric industry, I proved those ******** wrong with my practice.

So you deleted his post and threatened to ban him(again) for him asking you to consider a scientific and medical approach to things? You may not like what people say about you, and gods know there is a lot said about you by a lot of people, but thats the thing, they have freedom of speech just as you do. And unless his post was, and I quote:

"Go see a ******** psychiatrist b***h."

It isn't proper to delete his post and is way overboard to threaten to ban him for it.

I don't think so, the way he phrased it and the fact that he's pulled this stuff before, warrants it in my opinion.

The way I phrased it? You mean, SERIOUSLY and SINCERELY asking you about something? The fact that I am worried about ANYONE who talks about suicide? The fact that a social science student who has proper, factual knowledge regarding psychology is asking you a legitimate question? If you think you know more on the subject, maybe you should show me what University you go to. Otherwise, it's me with the trump cards in this game of fact.

I was NOT trying to rile you up. I was not trying to insult you. I was actually trying to help you. Any talk of suicide is dangerous which is why I recommended such a thing. But if you want to be arrogant and ignore the help I, an educated person on the matter, has to offer, then go ahead. But just why would you want to refuse something like this, hm?

By the way, I'm screenshoting this post, and if you try to delete it I will simply post it elsewhere for others to see. Don't be petty about this and I won't have to be vigilant with the procedures I take.

Alright, I'm gonna jump in here for a sec...

What is wrong with thinking about suicide? A lot of people think on it, but rarley ever act upon it. As you can see, Mendele is still here, so he obviously hasn't done it. And he won't...at least in this lifetime.

There is A LOT wrong with it. Sure, almost everybody does at some point in there life, ******** , I've attempted it. It shows that you're depressed, thus there is a chemical imbalance = bad. It shows that you're selfish(wanting to ease your pain while hurting everybody around you). It shows that you can't think of any other way out.

It also shows that you're not happy, and ********, thats a bad thing right there.

Well maybe the only things those people need are to talk about it?
