I think they're great. I like the second and thrid CDs. I listened to their first once and I didn't like it at all!

they used to be my fav band...but i don't like the new music emo
their first album is my fav. they've lost all their mcrness, tis a shame.

Opoid.the.piratefairy they used to be my fav band...but i don't like the new music emo their first album is my fav. they've lost all their mcrness, tis a shame. hopefully it will come back one day... I think I'm like your opisite... ok well honestly, when I first listened to MCR they... scared me... ok, but moving on. hehe. So, I ended up liking them quite a bunch. I listened to their second and third albums, and I like them a lot. Then, one day, my sister says she has their first CD. So I listened to that and... I'm pretty sure I ended up not finishing the CD... Personaly, I like them better now. But maybe that's just because I listened to the new MCR before the old MCR. Who knows? Ya know?

skaterVSchic : yeah i get what you mean. they kinda scared me a bit when i first heard them, but i got the second album and really liked it, then i got the first one cos i found out it existed, so i got to like to old ones. and the new one is too different.
but it think the one thing we have in common is that we both like the band biggrin

Opoid.the.piratefairy-- I heard one song, and then I didn't give in and decide 'ok, so maybe they aren't all that scary' untill it had been stuck in my head for a coupld of weeks. Then I found out I knew one of their songs already, I just didn't know it was them. And I hadn't heard it for a couple of years either. Yeah, I like the second album a lot too. I'm not sure if I like it or the thrid better. Realy it just depends on my mood. Yeah, I hardly knew about the first one. I just kinda knew it was out there. But then when I found it I kinda liked the second cd better. hehe. And yeah, their new stuff is different, but I love face paced stuff. But yup yup, it is a good band!

I picked up on these guys when they first released 'I'm not okay (I promise)' and have followed ever since.
I'm a little perplexed at the sheer difference between their first and second album. I don't like it when bands often change their sound so quickly, although I love both albums individually. Can almost imagine it being done by two separate bands, though!

Yeah, I bought their first cd a few days ago, and I never listened to more than the first 4 songs xd I didn't like it, but the Vampire one was okay. I just goes to show how much they have improved
