So, I was just wondering... All of you have some sort of special abilities pertaining to the paranormal or the supernatural. How many people around you have you told? How many people know about your abilities? One or two? Everyone? No one?

I've only told the full extent of my powers to two of my friends. My mom knows that I have a very dominant gift of empathy and that I always know what's up with people, but not that I can actually manipulate their emotions. (taking their pain onto myself, etc.)

Hmm...
My close family knows about all of my abilities, or at least a very large majority of them. They might not know about all of them but not even I do, so we're even.
Two of my friends know about me...
One of them knows almost as much as my family, that's pretty much the full extent.
Another one knows about about 75% of my abilities, the rest I haven't told her yet. Ususally we IM and we're almost never on at the same time.

Oh, and then the large number of people on the 'net like you guys who know about me.

That's about it.

How many people? That's a good question.

How many people know:

Everything? 2

Something: 3

Little bit: practically everyone.

Little is just that, a little bit. They know I believe in this knd of stuff. If you count interent friends, the list grows a little, but not all that much.

Number of people who know everything about me adds up to about three but these are close, close friends. People who know bits and pieces is more than three...hm, lost count but I know its not more than 7-ish.
Mostly only people I know won't try to burn me at the stake and DEFINATELY not my super-conservative parents sweatdrop

I think the general rule is people who need to know or who won't try and change you/hate you for it are okay to tell but everyone else you should be careful about.

Let's see. Really only one friend knows everything. Another only knows what she's heard, and my mom only knows that I'm sensitive. I tried to tell my dad some of the stuff and he made fun of me for weeks. crying Step-mom thinks I'm crazy and I think she convinced dad.

One close friend knows everything. I have a few other friend that know little bits. I have one that I throw psi balls at. I taught him to makem too.

Other than that none. I have some cousins I would be willing to tell if I spent more time alone with them. I'm almost POSITIVE my grandma's a very powerful psion but I'm afraid to ask sweatdrop

Now that I think of it she knew I used to see auras and have prophetic dreams. But that was a long time ago. and she's the only one who talks to her psychic cat beside me. but yeah.
