 There were some things people should just NOT do in a bathroom and Sorakai was probably going to do all of them. Now one would wonder why he chose the room with the porcelain throne to do his bidding, well why not? Calm soothing music, the occasional rush of water and a mirror to show himself how vain he really could be. Really, how many times could once person check their hair in the mirror? Sorakai lost count a long, long time ago.
But inside this multi color tiled sanctuary did Sorakai do his business. No it wasn't big business, thankfully, but important business none the less. There upon the floor was the man seated, little trinkets and miscellaneous things scattered around him in arms reach. In his lap was a mixing bowl, where he was currently stirring whatever concoction he had.
Every now and then he would check a list at his side, making sure he had the right ingredients added before he continued on. "So far so good!" He explained to no one but himself, only for the pleasure of hearing his voice echo against the wall. Oh yeah, this was definitely the best room in the lab!
Grabbing a bottle, he twisted off the cap and took a small swig. Now if anyone looked at it they would clearly see it was labeled as a top of the line vodka. Perhaps it was water? Nope! Not with that little grin that spread across the Thai man's face. It was vodka. Without little thought, a smidgen of vodka was poured into the mixing bowl, a small hum on the man's lips. Someone was having fun playing mad scientist...

It was times like these that Ithe recalled all those moments he had mentally scorned people who brought their young children into the bathrooms with them. Mind you, only the ones of the opposing gender, but still... the world was rather ironic at times. He'd always thought it so inconsiderate, but things were different now. He was on the other side, caring for a child of the opposing gender. One that was a bit too young to be asked to go into a public restroom on her own just yet. Maybe soon, but not quite yet.
So there it was, that casual tug on his jacket and the little hopping action that told you just what the cause for attention was. Bathroom break, which meant once more daring the journey through man only land to one of the stalls. Hopefully his luck would continue to prevail though, what with never running into other men in there. Hopefully.
"Alright, Lani, close your eyes then cover them with your hands. I'll tell yu when you can open them again, alright?" A quick nod from the child as he grinned at her from he kneeling position. "Alright, practice now." She did so instantly, a grin spreading on her face that said she thought it was some form of a game. "Now stay just like that." A swift act of pulling open the door before he reached out and quickly tugged the girl up into the air in front of him, a hand on either side of her to support her. It was the usual course of action he took to deal with this, better thant he young girl tripping on the way in. Certainly not, the floor might not be sanitary.
He caught the door with his foot as it threatened to slide shut again and shoved it open before slipping in, determined to head for the nearest open stall to drop the young hibiscus off in before she could see or hear anything a young girl shouldn't be exposed to. So far so good, it sounded quiet enou- or not.
The man froze mid-step as he spotted the dark haired fellow sitting on the floor with what looked like alcohol. Not only that, he had a bowl of something he didn't want to know. Ok, he did, the curious side of him always had to know what every mixture was. It was part of why he was a good cook. He liked to examine and test what went well together, everything. Down to the basics of the basics. So of course he was curious, but... but why was he on the floor. "Uh... excuse me..?" And just who was he anyway? Not that he knew the other people, but it was a good question.

When the door opened, Sora looked up as if he were a kid with their hand in the cookie jar. He just stared at the man dangling the small child in his hands with a funny expression. "I don't think you're doing that right." He stated, "You hold them by the ankles and shake the money out of their pockets... But aren't you to big for school ground bulling? And... In the man's bathroom! Heavens! What is it you are doing to that child! Ah..." But you see... He couldn't keep a straight face through his sarcastic episode, bursting into a fit of giggles. "Naaaaaaah! I'm just kidding!"
Waving a bit, he'd set the bowl down before rising to his feet. "Don't go in the second stall. I got something soaking." Really... That would peek anyone's curiosity wouldn't it? "And no one else is in here, and since my pants are up... Your kid doesn't need to play peek-a-boo."
Lifting the vokda bottle to his lips once more, another sip was taken before the cap was twisted into place. "I suppose introductions are in order, right?" He winked, cocking his head to the side. "I'm Sorakai, kinda new here actually. Perhaps after your kid does her business you can show me around?" Even though he had already toured himself around the past few days... Didn't hurt to have someone else do it, specially one that was so pleasing to the eyes.
"And before you ask, because I can see the question in your eyes.. I'm making a special secret miracle grow! See... I don't do babies good. The whole pooping and peeing diaper changing spitting up and crying all night thing. I just want to skip that, understand able yes?" He chuckled a bit, hands going onto his hips in a super man like pose. "This concoction here is going to help me out, get my little sprout all growed up... Or at least potty trained."

He could only star as the man explained he was... doing it wrong? Why would he hold Lani by her ankles, and- oh wait. Now he got it. The confusion left his face momentarily, exchanged for one that showed he found this less than amusing. "I would nev-" He wasn't able to finish though. Not when the man started laughing and labeled it as a joke. To which he could only sigh and stare at the fellow. "A-ah... alright." He didn't get it, what was so hilarious?
Lani needed no second bidding than being told there was no reason for her to cover her eyes. She quickly removed her hands and beamed at this new person curiously. So he was the laughy one? He sounded fun, so he couldn't be bad. Though she was rather curious about what he'd meant about soaking things. She lightly kicked her legs to signal that she wanted down and the wordless request was quickly obeyed. Now standing on the floor she half walked half skipped over towards the man to get a better look, before eyeing the second stall. Though she did pause as her guardians voice spoke up again.
"No, Lani." He wasn't sure what was soaking, but he didn't want the child to find something innapropriate. "That one." *He gestured to the closest and waited as the girl obeyed silently, though she didn't look entirely pleased at not knowing what the thing was.
Once she was in the stall Ithe turned his attention back to the man who was introducing himself. Sorakai, huh? He'd never heard of him, but what else was new? Though the fact the man was drinking on the job was... well that WAS new. "I suppose I could." Simply for the bonus points of fitting in and being the nice fellow. It was best not to tick everyone off afterall. "I'm Ithe, and the young girl is Leilani. I'm fairly new myself, but I do know my way around." He'd made sure of that.
And finally the topic of interest. What the fellow was working on. One brow arched as he made the exclaimation. A growth formula huh? That was... interesting. "I see..." Actually, a worthwhile endeavour of sorts. Certainly looking into the effects a speed growth would have upon one of the children would be interesting to look into. Althought he wouldn't allow such a test to be used upon Lani, he didn't see anything wrong with someone else doing it. Obviously Sora wasn't afraid of what it would do. "You'd still need to at least teach the child you know, they would have been born, even if they aged extremely fast. The knowledge must still be aquired." He crossed his arms, glancing casually at the stall to check if Lani was done, probably not. She was potty trained, but that didn't mean she was swift about it.

"NO no no no no." Sora muttered, waving his arms around as if he were a mad man. Perhaps he was, as half that bottle of vodka was gone. "See... Teaching the little brat is just a waste of my time. I got things to do, people to do.. I can't sit around and teach A, B, C and 1, 2, 3. This kid's gotta come out right on the ball." He explained, gesturing over to the pot sitting all but helplessly on the bathroom counter.
"The miracle grow is just part one of my experiment. There's three parts to it. Once I've done it everyone is going to applaud and say I'm a genius! Just you wait and see." Grinning, both hands were placed onto his hips as he gave off a hearty laugh to echo against the walls.
"Anyway..." He cleared his throat, collecting himself from that minor loss of self control. "Step one is the miracle grow, step two are the books on tape. Plants are supposed to respond to music... So I created and recorded all he needs to now in song and will play it for him. Step three is when he actually appears, that'll be the visual influence called television. Hopefully if it all goes well it should be done within a week."
Nodding matter of factly, Sora would grab a small topper ware box from his travel bag and start for the stall with his soaking books. "Just let me collect my things and we can head out for some fun! OH! And you gotta keep all this a secret K? I don't want everyone to know my plans just yet, I want my boy to be born before I announce my formulas."

A waste of time? Wasn't teaching children half the fun of having one? It would develope based upon the accuracy of one's work. At least that was the conclusion Ithe had come to shortly after tkaing up the care of the child. How he raised her would affect how she acted as an adult. To an extent. It was quite obvious the child had a mind of her own on the side, but she responded quite well to things. Still, it did seem the person was more obsessed with adult things. At least with part of his speech.
It wasn't as if Ithe was utterly clueless.
"I see." How exactly had this man joined the program? Aside from the fact that, if this worked, he was quite brilliant. If not twisted. Some small voice in his head did bother to say that he might have made a good demon with his rather questionable thought patterns. Which made sense in their own way. Something that Ithe took minor pain in realizing. Because they made sense to him, it meant he hadn't truly conformed to living in this new society yet as a human. Ah... failure, what a sour feeling. "Certainly it will prove you to be quite the mind if it works." However, he was beginning to wonder if it would. Somehow... he thought the child might just come out a bit mentally challenged. "Make certain that you have a very controlled environment with your actions." Although, obviously that had already been compromised. A toilet wasn't a controlled environment, period.
The sound of one of the toilets flushing issued in the return of the child as she toddled out of the stall beaming as if to ask if she did well. Which earned her a careful pat on the head to ensure the delicate blossom wasn't crushed.
"Certainly, I will hold my tongue in the matter." At least if something went wrong he could claim he knew nothing of the whole ordeal. He wasn't above lying, though Leilani was strictly forbidden to even think of lying. "I'm certain the results will be highly intriguing." And the man was going into the stall to do who knew what. Such an odd fellow.
Lani took the chance to follow the new person out of curiosity this time, trying to peek around him at the toilet. She didn't fully understand what they'd been talking about, despite having heard it all. Something about another child? And growing fast, and... many odd things really. She frowned slightly, standing on tiptoe to try and see better, but not speaking up to ask about the matter herself.
