I have got 2 messages today (scams) people trying to say they are leaving gaia and going to trade me items and 2 letters of staff impersonation today- that's 4 scam letters in one day- I feel like i am under the threat of being hacked real soon- is that normal for an exchanger?

GPES I have got 2 messages today (scams) people trying to say they are leaving gaia and going to trade me items and 2 letters of staff impersonation today- that's 4 scam letters in one day- I feel like i am under the threat of being hacked real soon- is that normal for an exchanger?
I get them almost everyday I am active.

okay- just wondering- these people are going on about how i've been reported for not following TOs and i'm like Oookay -I was scared so i sent my valuable stuff over to my other account

On my old acount `crack whore, I once got over ten in one day.
otherwise I get 1-4 a day.

I get them every now and then, and I scammed a guy myself. He said he was going to give me horns of the demon for my dark halo so I sent him a trade and gave him a gift box with an item that could only be sold for 1g, and he gave me a soccer ball. He was deadly mad at me for that.

I've only gotten one so far. It was some stupid person that said I'd been reported for some odd reason and to send over my password, email, and screen name. Stupid moron.

Yeah, I've gotten 10 in a day before. I was worried about it too considering I've heard of people just hacking into gaia. So honestly I change my password often to make myself feel safe.

I get a lot of them. Anywhere from 5 to 15 each day.
One time I created a mule account and traded all the gold and initial clothing away and gave the scammers the username and password to the account with no value. The scammer was pretty brazen -- he send me a follow up email saying that I had an unusual trading activity with Francis Drake and that I would have to supply all the usernames and passwords of all my accounts.
I liked messing with his mind, but it just takes too much time.
Generally, I just report the post and delete it.

Great idea! I'll give them something really, really pathetic. Whoo! I NEVER got scam PMs until I started going to the exchange, and it seems like for every 2 hours I'm there, I get at least one scam message.

You are never under the threat. I was only getting 2 letters a month when I got hacked. I lost alot and it put me under for a while.
But yes I would guess that is normal for an exchanger.

You are never under the threat. I was only getting 2 letters a month when I got hacked. I lost alot and it put me under for a while.
But yes I would guess that is normal for an exchanger.
