So, have you read any Detective Conan fanfics? Did they involve any cases and were they even near well done? biggrin Tell me, and please, recommend me some of them if you've read any.

I used to write fanfictions, but that was awhile ago, but the ones I wrote were more like Detective Conan on crack and love stories.

Usually fanfictions are love-, or humor based. Nothing wrong with that. cool But I'd like to see someone try to come up with some good mysteries.

The best Detective Conan fanfiction (that I've read in the last two years) is called Relative Truth by Becky Tailweaver. Go to fanfiction.net and you'll find it there. It does have ONE very good case but it's around Chapter 20 and lasts for two or three chapters.
But it's really well written and fun to read. I especially love the Chapter titled Cards on the Table. cool

Mintoco Oh, thankyou for recommending. biggrin I will try to find it. Glad to help. I've read tons. More Recommendations: (all on fanfiction.net) Candyland: She writes GREAT romance. Humor too. They're really good. FireBlazie: Her best is the romance of Heiji and Kazuha, but she has others. Fyliwion: I'm partial to her oneshot, Elysium. It's Kaito and Aoko but she has others that are great too. Becky Tailweaver: I already recommended Relative Truth, but Coming Home, and it's two prequels are the absolute if you want dramatic love stories. Warning! Neither Relative Truth or Coming Home are done nor have they been updated in awhile but Becky Tailweaver has posted that she hasn't given up on them.

Jojoangel: She's got some serious stuff, mostly romance. Some may be OOC but not to a major degree.
animebookworm: Her stuff is simple, but nice. I rather like it. She has a mystery I remember, but it's in Dance with Destiny.
RanMouri82: I love her fic, The Kudou Files. It's alot of fun to read.
Orla: Her Truth, Trust, and Promises fic is really good. One of my favorites because Shinichi and everyone else finally face against the Black Organization. Read it, it's done, and really good to read.
WARNING!! Something for all my recommendations!! Some are a little...descriptive. Not for under 13 years. Not many but some.

I read the one where
detective conan and cardcaptor sakura was combined..
it was really fun(BUT it's in Korean sweatdrop and it was centered around romance, cases didn't really show)
[storyline]
shinichi was sakura's friend and he was also rival with syaoran,
who was also a good detective. sakura heart syaoran
(however her first heart was Eriol who passed away(he's alive, but sakura thinks he's dead)
Eriol's actually shinichi's big brother(he was almost killed by his own father but shinichi saves him and Eriol ran for his life)
Shinichi heart Ran(who hates shinichi for some reason(I think shelikes him inside but can't really show
Tomoyo was actually Sakura's adopted big sister( she once tried to kill sakura because of jealosy but sakura got away with injury in her ear so she's halfdeaf now)_Don't worry Tomoyo's not evil in here
Evil character is shinichi's father he tries to kill syaoran ,
shinichi tried to save syaoran but shinichi's father killed him(it was so sad when he died muttering Ran's name crying )
before he dies he tried to warn sakura of his father's plan
but sakura couldn't hear(she's half-deaf)so she let syaoran go
before they go to Japan(they promised to get marry there)
syaoran dies in shinichi's father's trap
and that's the end..it was so sad crying Sakura waits for syaoran
even though she knows he won't be back crying
I really cried when shinichi died crying

also look up anything by Jeva, sapphirestars, Ellen Brand, JoisBishMyoga (who just started posting a lovely fic called 'Inconceivable'), Ysabet, and Icka M. Chif.
Icka and Jois can also be found on livejournal, where they update more quickly than on ff.net.
(warning: some fics have yaoi content)
anyway. great stories. Icka's Storybook Mysteries are hilarious.
Promenade by Ocianne, Melange by Elaienar, and Katreal's Masquerade and Leave it All Up to Luck are great stories as well.
Magician's Waltz is another great fic, but it's Rated-M, and semi-graphic Hakuba/Kid. minors should not read.

OMG! DUH! I cannot live without detective conan fanfics!
But I like only read ShinichiXRan fics XD
Dont get mad at me! I cant help that i have like a mental problem where im obsessed with them and like hate like anyone who likes shinichi or ran paired with someone else even if they like shinichi and ran XD
but ok!
If youre into ShinichiXRan, you just HAVE to read this one story on fanfiction.net! 8D
Its like called 12 Days Of Romance and its 12 little oneshots.
I think its the second one in that series thingy.
Its where Shinichi is back and like theres a little bit of time left in school so that teacher and classmates make him take a pychology test thingy!
Its like HISTERICAL! OMG! I was like laughing my head off! (well i would have been if my mom wasnt sleeping in the room XD)
anyways i've read tons of great fanfics and I recomend you to pretty much every shinichiXran fic on fanfiction.net! 8D
