i like harry potter and some stephen king.
i love his movies. they rock.
but i haven't read any of the others from your list.

harry potter series, stephen king, and edgar allen poe rule. i absolutly love horror.
scott westerfeld's "midnighters" series was also very good.
im currently reading salem's lot by stephen king and
blackwood farm by anne rice, she writes an amazing series of vampire books and also some others, the ones ive read so far have been rather intellectual.
