What is Hogwarts without professors? Our students need to learn from the best wizards and witches that the world has to offer. Please fill out the following application:[b]Name:[/b]

[b]Will you be prompt in the meeting of your classes?[/b]
[b]Please give a small sample of your proposed curriculum:[/b]
[b]Have you read and understood the rules of students and teachers?[/b] Your application will be reviewed and approved by myself or your headmaster, Dea. Once you are approved, you may set up your classroom in the appropriate manner and begin the meeting of your class at once. Thank you for supporting the fine education that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry so strives for.

I believe that if we don't get any teachers, I'll just have to make some teahers to help teach the courses, hehe I printed out each of the classes that are taught at hogwarts, and some basic information about each, and perhaps i'll go ahead and set up schedules for the classes, and then we'll just have to see which ones i end up teaching (if any).

Class you wish to teach: Defense Against the Dark Arts, though undoubtedly I will be teaching Potions instead.
Will you be prompt in the meeting of your classes? Lateness is not excuseable.
Please give a small sample of your proposed curriculum: First years will be learning simple potions such as sleeping draughts, weak poisons and basic identification of potion ingredients. My N.E.W.T. classes will be learning far more advanced potions, and a certain amount of danger is involved.
Have you read and understood the rules of students and teachers? I wish to work at Hogwarts.

Please give a small sample of your proposed curriculum: first years will start off small with transfiguring a button and small things, Newts will be far more advanced to the point of transfiguring themselves if possible

The application for Severus was looked over before she made her judgement. "Yes, Severus, I'm afraid you will be teaching Potions this year yet again. But you're the best fit for the job. You may begin setting up your class."
She moved next to Minerva's application and lowered it to look at her. "Minerva, I always assumed you were a stickler for detail." She winked. "But I must insist that you take a look at your parchment for the rules for professors, if you please," she said with a sweet smile.
((Actually, that was directed at the phrase you didn't mention, but I'm changing it, so it doesn't matter anymore. Go ahead and open your class. ^^ ))

Will you be prompt in the meeting of your classes? of course not. being late to classes means punishment
Please give a small sample of your proposed curriculum: First years will be learning simple little tricks like how to float feathers and figuring out how to use the wand properly. My N.E.W.T. classes will be learning far more advanced charms and which ones not to use, like the one my friend used on his trashcan to be a dog for him. that didn't work out to well when it was time to take out the trash. *giggles*
Have you read and understood the rules of students and teachers? indubatably so, I wish to work at hogwarts and help students win the house cup.

Please give a small sample of your proposed curriculum: [First and second years didn't take this in the books, so I'll go by that.]
My third years will start by learning the basics of tea-leaf reading, crystal gazing, and dream reading. Fourth years will start off again with dream reading, then go into in-depth star/plantet reading. My OWLs will simply be reveiwed on everything they've learned, plus I'll through in some odd things. My NEWT classes will learn much deeper crystal gazing, attempt scrying of different sorts[Mirror and herb], and tarot cards.
Have you read and understood the rules of students and teachers? Yes maam. I predict the House Cup will be..Gryffindors! D:<

oh and just some basic class information
All first years take the following classes:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Agains the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
All Second years take the following:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Agains the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
(During the easter holidays each student chooses two or more elective clases for their third year)
All third years take the following:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Agains the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
Plus two or more of the following:
Ancient Runes
Arithmancy
Care of Magical Creatures
Divination
Muggles Studies
All Fourth Years take the following:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Agains the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
(may drop one of the electives they took in 3rd year if they want)
(start studying for owls)
All Fifth years take the following:
Astronomy
Charms
Defense Agains the Dark Arts
Herbology
History of Magic
Potions
Transfiguration
(again students may drop an elective that they picked up in 3rd year)
(students take O.W.L.s at the end of this year)
All Sixth years take the following:
( these classes are based on what the student passed in owls)
All Seventh Years take the following:

This is just a helpful comprehensive list that i found on Lexicon, thought it might help everyone with their class schedules, and in knowing which classes are still available
I have taken the liberty of Striking out all the classes that already have teachers, this should help anyone who is still interested in teach but doesn't know what is already taken.

The applications were coming in quickly. She looked over them and nodded curtly to each of the new professors.
"Phinneas, I'm sure we'll expect some big things from your small size as always. Naomi, if I may call you so, welcome to Hogwarts and we really do hope you enjoy your stay here. Things seem to be in order and you may begin setting up your class as soon as you can. I expect divination to take off this year!"

you're welcome, soon as we figure out what i am in hogwarts, I might bet teaching some classes, if so, I'm thinking Astronomy and History of Magic sound like fun blaugh
