Audric stumbled along eagerly through a maze of strong, stone walls. Barely a few days into the school year and he already felt the pressure. Appearantly, the change from home schooling to regular schooling was a bit tougher than Audric had counted on. Having the day already set in stone before it even started seemed strange to him. There was certainly no time for theater. All Audric wished to do was wait for the weekend to arrive and mingle with some other students. Perhaps he'd invite them to the upcoming musical at Le Théâtre des Âmes.

Successfully working his way through the walls, Audric found himself within a vast garden spralling with more plants than Audric thought existed. Vines creeped up once towering walls, flowers colonated the walking path, trees sprang up from the earth, holding back the sky with their broad leaves. Loose petals peeled from their branches and traveled to Audric's face on the wind soon enough to spot the small smile bubbling up.

Satu sat in the flowered garden. He had spent all afternoon trying to find somewhere to practice that was quiet. He always hated when he would start practicing with other people unless he was with his orchestra. People would always stare and he would get very self conscience.

Today all the music rooms were full, some fully of clubs, more full of stupid seniors who were just looking for a place to mitch class so Satu went to the garden and through the maze of walls and stones armed with his violin until he got to this flowered garden. He took out his violin and sat down, afraid that someone would be able to see him if he stood up, after all the walls wern't that tall.

He then started to play, his eyes closed, his body swaying with the rythem of the music. His violin played the melodious tune of "All I ask of you" from Phantom of the Opera, his bow rised and fell with such passion and muster that it was obvious to anyone who saw him that music really just meant everything to him. He was so involved in playing the piece that he didn't hear Audric approaching him.

At first, Audric had simply been combing through the maze with no goal in sight, other than to escape. However, a sweet song echoed between his ears and wished him closer. Of course Audric knew the pure notes swam from a violin, but he had absolutely no idea who would be playing it.

Forgetting himself, Audric didn't bother to hide himself behind a wall or bush. Instead, once he turned the corner, Audric proceeded to walk straight over to the source of the sound; it was a boy like himself, with swaying blond hair and intense eyes. Audric guessed they were blue, but he had no way of telling. The boys eyes were clamped shut as he carefully concetrated on creating his music.

Searching within his memory bank of musicals and plays, the gears in Audric's brain turned until they finally pieced together the Phantom of the Opera. He'd seen it so many times it was a wonder he hadn't recognized it quicker. His mind swimming with images of the elegant dress and lavish sets of the different versions he'd seen, Audric didn't realize the song had come to an end.

Satu finished and let the bow elegently fall by his side, the last few notes echoing across the almost abandoned garden. He smiled a he felt them slowly drift away. Phantom of the Opera had always been one of his muscials of all time. His family had gone to see it many times and the sheer beauty of the stage and music had captured his mind forever.

He finally opened his eyes, his images of dancing aristocratic ladies and gentlemen disapearing to the site of the boy standing infront of him. Satu jumped in fright, almost dropping his violin in the process. He had never imagioned that someone else would be in the gardens. He prevented himself for releasing a rather uncharacteristicly girly scream. He turned around and composed himself and turned back around to great the boy, his frightened face turning into an oddly friendly face.

"Um...hello." he said awkwardly. The boy had obviously heard alot of his piece of music so there was no point in hiding the violin in his hand. He instead placed it gently on a stone bench that stood beside him. "I'm terribly sorry for ruining your walk. I only came here because I thought this place was empty. All the music rooms were full you see." Satu stuttered trying to explain that he wasn't playing in the garden to show off how he was able to play the violin. The last think he wanted to do was to make him believe that Satu was a show-off.

Standing in place, hands at his sides, Audric began to sweat. He hadn't been at Ouran for one day and already he was making someone uncomfortable! It wasn't that he meant to, he'd just never met someone this way; all alone, that is. Back in France, the place was booming with people all around! If you met someone, it was most likely a loud, crowded after party. Not to meant that he hadn't seen any musicals for a while, and hearing the music threw him back into an old world.

Audric certainly didn't want the other boy to think he was some stuck-up who was a music basher. "Oh, ummm, you didn't ruin it or anything. I was just trying to make my way to class. If anything, you made it better." Audric hoped this wasn't too foward. "I'm Audric by the way, just arrived here. I didn't even know there were music rooms here, so you're ok!" A little joke to lighten the mood.

Satu looked at him for a second, before placing his violin gently down on the seat beside him. "Oh so...you're lost is it?" he asked him, trying to repress a giggle. It reminded him way to much of himself. He had ended up in the most amazing places when he had come here first. Satu seemed to have an amazing nack at getting himself lost. Even now he wasn't exactly sure where he was, but he wanted a quiet place to play, he got lost and ended up here.

Satu laughed a little awkwardly at his comment on his music. "I'm sure that's not true. I havn't played that piece in so long it had to have been terrible." Satu smiled then. "I'm Satu, Satu Kimura. Pleased to meet you Audric." he said brightly. "Believe me there are too many music rooms in this school, all being used by other students as rooms to hang out it. Anyone who actually wants to play has to go to the gardens then!" he said, laughing slightly.

"Well, let's put it this way. I'm not lost, but I'm not exactly sure where I am!" Audric laughed and added, "I saw flowers on the flyers for this place, but I didn't think there were gardens!" In truth, Audric wasn't yet use to such wide open spaces. In France, every place he set foot in was crowded with thousands of other feet. Not to say Japan wasn't crowded, just Ouran.

"Trust me, the Phantom would be proud." Audric said, testing his responses. Thinking back, Audric remembered encountering rooms packed with students just hanging out as he walked through an artsy hallway. The brightly painted walls hinted at a drawing department. None of other students had been doing anything drawing related.

"Ah! Now I get it. All the experienced players don't go to the music rooms, while everyone else does." Audric observed while laughing.

Satu laughed "I'm kinda the same. Lets just say I went to find a quiet place and now I'm not too sure where I am. But I guess I'll find out how to get out when the time comes. Getting lost happens alot! Well it does for mew anyway!" Satu said laughing brightly.

Satu laughed. "I'm not to sure about that." he said brightly, toying with the bow in his hand. He rubbed it up and down his fingers, the white powdered resin coming off onto his already pale hands leaving them white and sticky.

Satu laughed again. "Isn't that the truth. We had terrible trouble booking a music room for the music club you know. Other clubs wanted to use them. I'm not to sure why but they certainly didn't need them to play music in anyway!" Satu said amused.

"Ah! You're that Satu! The one with the music club." Audric exclaimed. "I remember seeing that name when I signed up for the music club; I can't believe I couldn't put the pieces together." He said, lightly giggling and giving his head a tap with his hand. His mind drifting off, Audric began to imagine what the club would be like. A room full of joking laughter, the mouths all smiling. I'd been too long since he'd been around a ton of other kids his age at once.

Quietly, far off in the distance, Audric's ears picked up the dull 'bing' of a bell. A class bell. This sound immediately pulled him back into the real world. Audric had suggestfully just skipped first period.

"AH! I'm going to be in so much trouble!" But this wasn't even the worst part. Audric only had a few minutes to arrive for second period, but he was still absolutely lost. Nervously, Audric began to pick at his finger. It was a habit he'd been trying to concur for years. Whenever a stressful situation arised, so did the habit.

Satu blushes slightly. "Yup I'm the vice president. Oh so you're joining the music club are you? I cant wait to work with you!" Satu said brightly. He really couldn't wait until the music club started for real. It would be nice to hang out with people who had similar interests as him.

Satu jumped slightly at the sound. His hearing was really good so noises always freaked him out flightly when he wasn't ready for them.

Satu looked around. "What room are you going to? I think I know how to get back. We can't have you late for class now can we?" Of course Satu was late for class too but the teacher he had was a pushover so he really didn't need to worry about himself. he shoved his violin into its case and closed it. He then quickly slung it over his shoulder and gestured to Audric to follow him. "Come on this way!" he said brightly, pushing some overgrowing vines out of his way.

"Oh! I'm honored meet the vice president!" Audric said, holding out his hand for a handshake. It was obvious that Satu loved music very much. "I was very excited to learn about the club. I use to be homeschooled, so I've never been in any clubs before."

At Satu's question, Audric stood unmoving for a moment. He paniced for a second when he could't remember where he was going, but then Audric remembered the piece of paper he was given with his list of classes; it was still in his pocket. Pulling it out, he slowly examined it and answered, "Uhh, calculus in room B20. Eww wait, I'm going to math!" Audric realized suddenly, giggling. Despite being pretty good at it, he had no interest in math.

Satu smiled and shook his hand. "Believe me its really not a big deal!" he said laughing quietly, a little embaressed. "Oh you were homeschooled? Is this your first time in a real school? Well don't worry then I'll make sure to show you the ropes okay?"

Satu cursed under his breath. If you have calculus now we'd better hurry. That teacher is quite strict. But don't worry!" he added, looking about at Audric as they walked across the grounds. "That class is on the 1st floor so it wont take to long to get to!" he said smiling. He laughed at Audrics comment. "I know. For some reason it doesn't seem as fun to go to class once you realise its maths is it?" he said laughing as they walked across the well groomed grounds.

Audric couldn't help but blush with slight embarrassment at the question. While he was being homeschooled, a regular school had looked terrible! You were away from your family the whole day, you couldn't walk upstairs and talk to your teacher if you needed help, and you couldn't take a bathroom break whenever you wanted. But now, Audric couldn't help but feel that he'd been a little sheltered. After all, at one point in your life you have to step away from your family and become self-relient. "Yes, this is my first time attending a real school. I hope I don't have to go to the bathroom during class!" Audric added in to lift his mood.

"Ek! Strict math teacher? Sounds perfect, I think I can picture him already. Short, balding or bald, fat, the perfect picture of what a math teacher should look like. I haven't even ever seen a real math teacher and I already have this picture~" Audric started rambling everywhichway inbetween breaths. Who cames what he was saying, he was actually talking to someone!

"Math isn't my favorite subject, but hopefully I'll have some nice students in my class. Then we can all fail together!" Audric was on a joke frenzy today! "What class do you have first?" Audic asked while serveying the lush growth of flowers.

Satu smiled and grinned at Audrics comment. "Haha just try to hold it or if you really need to go atleast ask!" he said laughing.

Satu nodded. "You've prett much got the teacher sorted out, except he also speaks in quite a british accent aswell!" he said brightly. "Hes increadibly boring, try not to fall asleep in his class though, you'll get detention for that." Satu added as the both started to walk across the grounds.

"I don't particulairly like maths either but I guess you have to live with it huh?" he said brightly.

Satu thought for a second, the hand holding his violin case swinging from side to side happily, autumn really did put him in a good mood. "Well I'm on my way to English now. I'm in the same building as you and my teacher doesn't really care if I'm late so I'll show you where your class is first." he said with a smile. Satu liked english, it massaged the creative part of his brain.

Audric tried to gather his thoughts and fast-walk at the same time. He couldn't help but feel a bit nervous waiting for the moment when he would step inside the classroom and see his classmates or the first time. It was almost like performing in a play. You get unbelievable frightened before the show, but once you're up on the stage all those thoughts vanish. Audric had never been in a play before, but he was sure this was the way it would work.

"Neat. I have English...6th period. That'll be a nice end to the day." Audric said brightly. He liked how some answers to questions in English could be interpreted any way the reader wanted to. In math, there was always an exact answer down to some odd, millionth decimal point.

Audric began to slow his pace slightly as they came up on some classrooms. The nearest room on the left read B10. "Ek!" Audric couldn't help but squeel. It was an embarrassing habit he was trying to get rid of.

"Thank you for showing me where my room was." Audric said before they reached the door. "I would probably be in the USA right now if you hadn't of help."
