A couryard like any other; a stone patio surrounded by flowering trees and shrubs, and a small fountain in the middle of a witch with water flowing from her stone wand. A few tables are scattered around for either studying or eating purposes. A view of the lake from here is magnificent in the distance, especially when the sun sets over it. The ominous forbidden forest lies a safe distance away, but sometimes you may hear howls when night falls.

Mackenzie looks around at the beautiful Courtyard, and sighs, "This, is gonna be good year.." She squeaks a laugh. She turned her head to look at her pet ferret, Trigger. "What do you think?" Trigger rubs against her face, and she giggles.
She sits down on a stone wall, "I wonder where everyone is." She said quietly to herself. She then pulls out a piece of bread and gives it to Trigger.

After leaving Hagrids hut, Raina headed up towards the castle to get changed and set up everything she needed for her classes. As she passed through the courtyard, she was surprised to find it completely void of any students or teachers. Usually this was a common mingling ground for both students and teachers alike.

Tristan beat Stella to the Courtyard, and set her bag down on the bench. He saw Raina there, and he was breathing hard, "Hello Raina. Are you here all by yourself?"

Stella Caught up "Must you run?" She asked slightly out of breath herself. She plopped down on the bench beside her bag and looked up at him then between Tristan and Raina.
((Kineta Storm quick question, are you a student or a teacher?))

((according to my revamped profile, I am 17yo, going on 18, and a new graduate of the Ravenclaw house, and the new Ravenclaw head of house, and a teacher to boot.))
Raina smiled sweetly at Tristan and nodded in response to his question. "How are you two doing?" she asked kindly, though her voice was harsh and raspy from lack of anything to drink, and from all the yelling she had done on her trip.

Tristan sat down next to Stella, and looked up at Raina, "I'm alright. I should probally do some homework as well.." He said unenthuisiasticly. He stopped panting, and looked at Stella's back. He eyeballed it.. and smirked.

Stella turned around looking at him "Wow... a Ravenclaw unenthusiastic about homework... and I thought I was alone in that believe" she smirked just kidding around of course.

Raina shook her head at the two students before her, and cracked a small smile. "The term hasn't even begun and you two are already cracking open the books." She stopped shaking her head and began to walk past the students into the building. "You really should try having some fun around all that studying." she said over her shoulder.

"Yeah!" Tristan jumped, "Yeah, that sounds better. We'll have plenty of time do study later!" He stood up and crossed his arms and looked at Raina, "What'd you have in mind, Raina?"
