Hey guys! The guild has become more active recently and I am busier than ever off of Gaia because I just started a new job. If it weren't for my moderators, we wouldn't have even been able to accept any one into the guild this week because I have pretty much not been on Gaia. Although I expect my job to get better and to be on more, the guild is growing and I know that there are probably people out there who have their own ideas of how to make the guild better. So... We are looking for 1) ideas + 2) people able to implement those ideas = moderators. Moderators can move and delete threads, and create announcements and stickies. I'm looking to moderate any one who has good ideas for the guild and the time to actually help with them. Or if you don't want to be a moderator but still have an idea, shoot. Any one can post here with questions or ideas. If you have a project that you wish to run but it does not require moderator abilities, then we may not moderate you or we may wait until after the project is well under way and you've proven your dedication to the guild. DUDES. IDEAS YES? Here is one idea we are putting into action as we speak: Quote: Penden Ok guys, thank you so much for your feedback. We will have 2 subforums, one for beginner and one for intermediate RPs. We'll have stickies in each of the subforums and here to explain things more once it opens up, but it won't be opening up until we're ready with those. Once it's all set up, the Advanced RPs will go in the main forum where they can get the most press. The moderators will be moving the RPs to the appropriate places. Every one will continue to start their RPs in the main forum.

Well, I'm a Crew member...but I don't consider myself a moderator. I'm here for teaching and Mental...so I agree, we need someone to maintain this guild. That would be sweet.

You know, we could run a couple guild-sponsored rps where the crew knows an over all plot, and thus any crew member can guide the story as we go. It might help keep it as an active thread.

Why don't we use my soon-to-come teaching RP, Other-Side, as one of them? This way, we can teach and RP.

why not give out small rewards to creators of rps that do well? like say... the creator of an rp that gets to page... um... 20 gets 1k, page 40 gets 2k, and so on.
just an idea
quit yelling at me! xd
edit: it might encourage more peeople to create rps, and thus increase the number of rps that are played.
oh, and you could give rewards to the people who post the most often... though I don't know how you'll keep track of that...

hey, I've got another idea. Place an rp in another guild you're in, thenn make the people in that guild have to follow a link to an rp in this guild, forcing the people in the other guild to play in this one, possibly convincing more people to join this guild! (I'm on a roll now!!!)

Thanks for your replies guys! My thoughts so far are: We have RPs like that already, with their own subforum, but any one who has an RP that needs many threads may get their own subforum if they tell me enough about it. If I haven't seen your RPs before you'll need to send me a link to an old one (a good one!) or I may wish to see it set up and you start recruiting before I actually get the subforum. Not all good RPs need their own subforum. Folchinator, if that is where you want to run the RP that we have already talked about (instead of in BT?) then that is fine. And secondly, we HAVE awards. I keep trying to hand those out but I can't do it by myself all the time. Those awards don't include $ because we don't have/collect enough money for that sort of thing. Donating to the guild, btw, can ONLY be used for making new subforums which do cost money.

um...well i'm new but,i'll still do my best to help 3nodding i'm sure i can help with atleast one thing on this most pwng guild lol but i'll need to look around just a bit more 3nodding but i know that this guild i'm staying in^-^

hmm...well i was thinking of an Anime subforum,cause ALOT of people like anime,and theres like hundreds to choose from,so it can have its own little spot there^-^but thats up to you if you think putting an anime RP subforum there 3nodding

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't think the guild has quite that many RPs for us to need a subforum like that, but you are certainly welcome to make an RP in the main forum.
I don't mean to sound like I am shooting down all the ideas, I swear.

Just a thought, but there could be sections like well...
I don't know, like in Barton Town?
Have an OOC Thread so we can seperate the Profiles and s**t? We can talk in OOC of course in the roleplays, but it was only a suggestion. Just to make everything more neat.
And also have a section to have semi-lits, lits, adv-lits, and etc.? =/
I'm just lazy and I'd rather click, than look through hundreds of roleplays. xD

Right now what we have is a forum for "Super Duper RPs" (advanced RPs) and then all other RPs and OOC go here. If we keep getting a lot of RPs, what would you think of a subforum for "Start Your RPs Here" and leaving the OOC here? We currently have 2 pages of OOC and RPs. RPs in the new subforum could then be moved to the Super Duper forum if necessary although most will just stay there. Advertisements and all other OOC would stay in the main forum.

That does seem sensible. Yes it is a good idea. =]
We can just call the Super Duper RPs just the RP thread, and move all RP's there, so there would not have to be any more subforums. Then it would be more simple. But that is only a thought.

Well originally I had thought of making the super duper RPs HERE. But, I knew that newbs who weren't paying attention will post their Rps in the main forum without thinking. I guess I could just, you know, deal with that. I could switch it up like that, make the current subforum for all RPs but super duper ones.
