 The familiar portrait of a fat lady greets you as you stand outside the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. The password has been changed to "bubotuber" and, upon reciting it, the portait swings open and you crawl through the entrance hole. Once inside, you already feel at home. Perhaps you might sit against the several cushioned arm chairs around the fireplace, sit at one of the study tables scattered throughout the tower, or take a gander at the notice board. Once you are ready to retire, you may make your way up to your dormitory: girls are to the left, and boys are to the right. Both will leave you with a most comfortable four-poster bed and warmed sheets thanks to Hogwarts' loyal house elves.

*walks through the portrait and sits down in her favorite chair thinking about her sister* *she gets up remembering that she needed to post a memo on the board for the newbies*
"Greetings first years and Old friends, I'm the second Head of House Star Black, and Quidditch Captain, if you need anything please feel free to contact me about anything especially about quidditch tryouts!!"

Dea and her group make their way into the common room and she sees Star.
"Hello Star,"Dea greeted with a gentle smile.

Star looks up at dea and smiles, "Hey dea how was your summer, man i couldn't wait to get back here Remus was driving me crazy good thing i had george around!"

She quietly made her way into the common room after her nice visit to the Lake. She took an empty seat by the fire and shuffled through her bag once more. She dug out 'Quiddich Through the Ages,' a book she borrowed from the Library, and began to read. She peeked over her book once or twice to look at the large group of Gryffindors, sixth years she knew, talking away.

She read page after page of her book. Eventually, seeing as this was her third time reading it, it got boring. She closed it up and put it away. She searched her bag again and pulled out her Transfiguration book. Classes hadn't started yet, but she wanted to read ahead.
Chapter one, page 2.. she thought to herself. The art of Transfiguration..

Star looks at the girl who just walked into the common room and watches her study, she walks over to the table and sits next to her, "is there anything i can help you with??" she asked hopefully.

She peeked over her book and saw an older girl across from her.
She smiled brightly. "No, ma'am. Just reading a bit. But thank you."

laughs at being called "Ma'am", " aw you don't have to call me ma'am, i may be second head but im not that much older than you, besides me and my sister have caused so much trouble in the school with the help of fred and george mind you" she said reminensing about the time they set off dung bombs and other things in Snapes office and Uncle Sirius and Remus grounding her for it but laughing at the same time.

She smiled. "Sorry, I call everyone older than me me 'Ma'am' or 'Sir.' That's. .just how I am." She closed her book and held it in her lap. "So, I hear you're the Quiddich captian, yes?"

"Oh don't let me keep you from reading" She said remorsefully as she realized she interupted someones studying, "though yes that is yet another title of mine, i've been around too long..." she laughs again

She gave a small giggle, and started to blush. [[She's a tad bit shy. :B]]
"Uhmm, I was just wondering, when the tryouts for the team were?"

she screwed her eyes up thinking when a good time would be for her to hold tryouts then she gave an answer, " i would have to say in a few days let classes get started and whatnot and we'll go from there but probably by the end of the week! and don't worry i'll break you out of that shiness of yours it's a talent of mine" she said laughing and giving a slight wink

She looked down and blushed some more. Ignoring her last comment, "Okay. I just wanted to know." She paused a second. "What positions are open?"

giving it some thought again, " i think all but a seeker and chaser are open, those are mine and Dea's, though if you're going to try out are you going to promise me one thing? you can't be shy out on the field, actually why don't we go out on the pitch right now to see what you're like im itching to know!" she said surveying her (( sorry im a very open person i always try to break down walls upon meeting a person so it comes out in my character lol))
