 Helga Hufflepuff was no fool when she had her house's common room built very near to the kitchens. Upon reciting the password "butterbeer" to your familiar entrance hole, you enter at once and relax immediately in a common room that is the only place you may find more comfortable than home. A large table sits against the wall, steadily filled by the nearby kitchen's house elves, with plates of sandwiches, sweets, and pumpkin juice. It's never a good idea to study on an empty stomach.

Kit huffed as she walked into the common room, she had had a rough trip and wasn't in the most pleasant of moods, but at the sight of the delicious food, she slowly started to relax a bit as she grabbed a glass of pumkin Juice, and a warm danish and flopped down in a chair near the fire, kicking her feet up on a nearby table.

Mac's eyes beamed as she remembered the entrance to the common room. She walked through the door with a smile, almost bigger than her face, squeezing her arms together with joy.
She spotted another Hufflepuff by the fire. She walked up to her and stuck out her hand, "Don't believe I know you. Name's Mackenzie, but everyone calls me Mac." She smiled bigger.

Looking up from her glass of juice, Kit saw a young lady infront of her holding out her hand in introduction. She smiled slightly and took the girls hand, shaking it gruffly. "I'm Kitanna"

Ellen walks in and sees Kitanna and says "Its good to be back, so how was your summer, Kit?" Then she sees the new student and says, "hi my name is Ellen von Animation, what's your name?"

Mac shakes the girl's hand and smiles. She sees another girl walk in, already knowing Kitanna. She introduces herself to Ellen, "Hi! My name is Mackenzie Helvarez. But you can call me Mac." Trigger, who is on her shoulder, squeeks, "Oh, I'm sorry.." She giggles, "This is my ferret, Trigger." She scratches him on his head.

Kit shakes herself out of the daze she was in and looked up at the other girls. "Not bad at all" she said in reference to the question about her summer. "I spent most of it out in the woods behind my parents home, flying around on my broom. But we did get a chance to go on a trip back to Australia once, course I had to keep quiet about school and everything while i was there" talking about quidditch and flying always made Kit happy, and she was beaming from ear to ear as she spoke to the other girls.

She turns to Kit, "Wow, that sounds exciting!" She paused, "I like to fly, but Trigger gets scared being way up that high. So, I only do it when I play Quidditch." She giggled. "what did you do In Aussie?"

Ellen said, "my summer was boring all I did was climbed trees and ran around my yard with some friends. But that sounds like a lot of fun what you did, Kit."

Eve walked in hurredly, shoving her bag into an empty chair. She grabbed a sandwich and some pumpkin juice before settling down in a nearby chair. She looked around as she took the first bite into her sandwich. Eve saw three other girls standing before her in the HufflePuff common room. She listened in on what they were talking about, hoping to introduce herself soon.

Mac looked over to see what the noise was about, and saw a girl eating a sandwich. Trigger saw this, and his little beady eyes went crazy. He leaped off her shoulder, and onto the new girls lap, starring up at her sandwich and rubbing all over her stomach.
Mac walked over to her, "Hello there! My name is Mac. I don't think I've seen you before. What's your name?"

Eve looked startled as a ferret leaped into her lap and cuddled with her. "Why hello there..." She told the ferret in a whisper,, her mouth full of food. She watched as a girl walked over to her. She looked around the age of 12, a year younger than her. "Hey," Eve said, wiping her mouth wwith a napkin. "My name is Eve, it's nice to meet you!" She smiled, quite pleased to meet somebody new.
